My family and I was trying to make appointment and ELLA the manager said she would call my husband back to check eligibility. 24 hours later no phone call. So I call and asked why it took so long. Ella was making excuses that there is procedures they do for new patients. And I told her it takes all day to get eligibility. We were waiting and we HAD to call back. POOR service and then the manager HANG up!! It's sad because I was referred by a friend and was excited to go but talking to ELLA the manager who has no compassion and didn't care that we wanted to see the Doctor! It's sad because having that kind of manager sucks!!! She lost 4 new patients!!!! Sorry Dr Ibarra Consider talking to her!! You can loose patients that way.

So, my review is slightly irregular in that I am no longer Dr. Ibarra's patient since I went back to school a few years ago. But, I definitely wanted to leave a review to say that Dr. Ibarra is really and truly excellent. During the transition from his office to my college healthcare provider I had a health scare and asked if I could come in and have a consultation with him. He agreed and saw me the following day even though I was technically no longer his patient, and also at that point technically uninsured, yet he made the time to calm me down and tell me that I was in fact completely fine. Yes, he can keep it funky at times and tell you like it is ... even when you aren't trying to hear it. Like the time I gained a ton of weight and tried to act like his scale was broken.... it didn't work. But, he really does care and he truly is a gem. I just wish that I hadn't referred quite so many people to him since he is usually not accepting "new" patients! But, he is well worth the wait and the reality checks.

I have been a patient of Dr Ibarra's for more than ten years and have never felt rushed, ignored or belittled. He is kind and caring, listens well and does not make hasty decisions. I can not recommend him highly enough. The only reason I have left his care is that I have left the area.

I loved him as a doctor, even through we didn't get along all the time, but that's what I like a doctor that interacts with me. I loved his office staff. I am unhappy that they were no longer apart of my insurance. I never have to wait a long time, he is very thorough in my care. I was happiest being his patient. I miss u guys, you took very good care of me, thank you.

I just started coming to Dr. Ibarra last year and it has been a great experience. He is very thorough with his care and explains all the details very carefully. I highly recommend Dr. Ibarra, he is very understanding, has a sense of humor, and the staff is friendly.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Ibarra's for several years now and we love him. He is patient, thorough, and caring. He has been practicing for a long time and it shows in his non-alarmist and comforting bedside manner. Dr. Ibarra also makes himself available to patients after hours. On two occasions, we have paged him through his office line and he has gotten back to us each time within 30 minutes to talk through our concerns and advise on what we should do. It's reassuring to know that any urgent concerns can be discussed with him even on weekends. Also, as someone else mentioned, the office is always on schedule. They are also organized with appointments, remind patients about blood work and annual exams needed, and call a few days in advance to give reminders. We are grateful to have Dr. Ibarra as our internal medicine and primary care physician.

Of the many doctors I have had before, none have taken the time or effort to genuinely care about my health as Dr. R. Ibarra. As a patient, you need to be able to talk to your doctor. Dr. Ibarra has always taken the time to listen to what I need to say. He is a very kind and friendly doctor which makes talking to him very easy, but yet his professionalism and commitment to the health of the patient goes above and beyond all expectations.

It has been over a year and we worked out the insurance issues fairly quickly and I am remiss in getting back with an update. Dr. Ibarra is as good as my office partner says he is and I am very happy with his staff. Insurance is still a problem in the Obama-care era, but that is an issue with the insurance providers and not the Dr.'s office.I would recommend that anyone seeking to change their primary care doctor give Dr. Ibarra and his staff a go.
