Sassan Farjami's Online Review Report Card

We had a disappointing experience with an oncologist at Mission Hospital and decided it was crucial to find a new doctor for my father before it was too late. Fortunately, we were introduced to Dr. Sasan Farjami through a friend. He immediately began studying my father's case and has been an excellent doctor. When you're experiencing significant pain, it's vital to have a doctor who genuinely cares about your well-being. Thank you, Dr. Farjami, for your compassion and dedication.

Today I celebrate my wife's 15 year cancerversary with joy and gratitude for the care she received from Dr Sassan Farjami. We were in a very bad state when we walked into his office and he and his staff were the turning point in our battle against triple negative breast cancer. Dr Farjami gave us hope when we felt hopeless and was so caring while our HMO was careless. He is my hero and I am forever in his debt.

I have a totally opposite experience with Dr Wu. I am eternally grateful for her calling my primary doctor several times to get me into the hospital right away. I have an HMO primary and PPO secondary. Now I have 2 PPO to avoid this problem. She is not concerned about billings like many doctors. Her primary concern is healing. I heard her racked her brains on how she can heal her other patients and wrote letters to COH so her patients can get treatment without paying a huge sum of deposit. She is Chinese, so there might be communication issues. And do not be rude to your doctor and tell them that you know better. Nobody responds properly to rude comments or behavior. She is only human like we are. An oncologist treated me without reading my previous response to chemo and then lied to me that my first chemo was ineffective. It was really the most idiotic lie as he gave the same chemo. Fortunately, I know he was lying, but I did not say a thing. I looked for the results and told the hospitalist. The next day, I told the lying oncologist, Doc, I have good news, and he said yes, the first chemo did reduce your mass a lot. He did not even apologize for his lies and gross negligence. He was sad and could not look at me. He was sad because the hospitalist probably told him, and his glowing reputation that he built so expertly fakely now is ruined. My nice nurse heard my conversation with the hospitalist. Everybody told me I was lucky to have him, and now they know it is just the opposite. He is totally lucky because I am not my siblings. I am civilized and calm than most people. I also did not want to destroy his career, so even though insurance tried to convince me to report him, I truly did not want to waste any time on him. I think he learned his lessons.

At my age, I have visited many a physician,few members of own family. Dr Farjami is by far the most thorough, thoughtful &caring "Mensch"I had honor to meet & being cared for.

Dr Farjami is a very knowledgeable expert. He is also very thorough and thoughtful. Dr Farjami cares about his patients. I would strongly recommend him to friends and family.

It was a short visit, but Dr. Farjami always goes to the point and explains everything in detaile.

Dr. Farjami is an excellent physician. I feel so very fortunate that he was assigned to my case when I was diagnosed with colon cancer and a Sarcoma cancer. He is a constant source of the highest level of care. At first I was trying to learn about my cancer but later realized it was far too complicated which caused me great anxiety. I have since learned to trust my life to Dr. Farjami and now I never worry about getting the very best treatment because I have Dr. Farjami managing my care. It is a blessing to be able to lean on him and allow him to worry about what needs to be done to treat my cancers. Dr. Farjami has also been so understanding of my mental health and even my concerns about other health conditions outside of his Oncology specialization. I could go on and on and on about what a great Physician he is, but I will just simply say again how fortunate I am to have him as my Oncologist these past three years! I would recommend him to anyone who wishes to have the highest level

Wonderful Doctor and staff. Always feel welcomed here. They make everyone feel at ease and important. Dr. Farjami is the best and makes everything easy to understand. He as well as the entire staff are courteous and accommodating. Thank you.
