List of Seema Hanamsagar's Reviews
Dr Seema & staff was one of the worst experiences I've had in receiving medical attention. I have PPO insurance and was treated like a piece off the street!! No follow-up whatsoever!
This place has the WORST customer service and the most rude staff I have ever encountered. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Highly Not Recommend!!!!I accidentally put a star for them which in my opinion the doctor does not deserved it. A lot of the nurses are really nice though.
Today I went to this Doctor because my Sister Goes & she informed me that DR. Seema Is A Great Doctor. The Nurse was very Nice & Direct but when the Dr Came in & I informed her what I was struggling with & that I have horrible panic attacks & anxiety attacks to the point I can't sleep at night. I Let her know I've been taking Xanax for 6 months but I've been getting it off friends & if I get pulled over with any I can get a ticket & have to go to court. Anyways I informed her that Xanax is the only medication the helps me relax & calms me down so I don't get any panic attacks when I take Xanax. She wanted to prescribe me Lexapro & some other medication but I've had so many bad experiences trying other medications when I can just take the one the works perfectly fine with me. She told me to see a psychiatrist but my sister went to the same Dr. & she was prescribed Xanax for her anxiety. It made me feel judged & very uncomfortable because I thought she was there to help me. I'm not saying she is the worst DR. In the world but she wasn't for me because I've had a primary DR. Before 3 years ago & they listen to my concerns & prescribed me what I needed. I have tattoos on my body small ones on my face I'm thinking she thinks I'm some kind of thug that just wants to get high or something but that's not the case. Xanax Really Helps me So Much it takes my panic attacks away & my social anxiety no other anxiety medication worked for me. It just makes me realize that some Doctors want what they think is best for you when you know what's best for you from past experience of taking meds that help the most & no body knows your own body but yourself. I was pretty upset when I left the office cause I filled out so much paperwork just to get denied of what I truly needed for my major panic attacks & Anxiety attacks. I feel she could heard me out & listen to what I had to say from the medication that I know works best for me. This was a learning experience for me to find a Doctor that will actually listen hear me out & prescribe me what I truly need instead of what they think I need.
She's a piece of shit doctor who gets a kick out of giving you the wrong medicine and talking down your problems when you try to communicate with her. I feel sorry for her assistants and nurses because I know she causes so much trouble for them by being garbage. I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy, I wouldn't even recommend her to Satan himself not even he deserves that kind of injustice.
First off, Dr. Seema is knowledgeable, professional, and kind. The issues are that she tends to go with the mainstream care which can end up as a negative for patient care. I got prescribed medication twice that caused a lot of issues. I kept saying my body is rejecting, I have problems with side effects - I would still got mainstream meds for a 3rd time. I ended up in the hospital and it took a team of doctors to figure out which meds would be effective based on my body reaction. It would be great if Dr. Seema read the charts before seeing the patient to remember what was said in previous ones. More individualized care definitely needed. On the other side, my son has her as a Dr. He is a healthy young man, no issues. She has been a great doctor for him.
I found Dr Seema to be kind and caring and interested in providing good medical care. I only called between appts once, and she returned my call early in the day, rather than after her last patient. Her schedule runs pretty close to on time which is a huge plus. Her front office could be friendlier. You can do your job and still crack a smile. Over all I would recommend.
Very unprofessional..I got my blood test done 3 weeks ago. Week later I called the doctor's office to find out the results. Staff answer said doctor is unavailable she will call back but didn't give me a exact time. She called back I was at work so couldn't answer her call. She left me a voice mail..I called back hour later..again she wasn't available..staff said she will call next day. Week goes by no call from the doctor. I called..this time staff telling I need to make appointment to talk to her..I said ok..so appointment was today 4-20-21 at 11.30AM. Today 11.30 pass no call from the doctor. So I called staff answer telling me doctor is behind her schedule..i said doctor behind her schedule was not my problem..so i asked why couldn't you call let me know because I had to take a break from my work to talk to her. Staff didn't care then I asked so when will she call me...staffer goes I don't know. Finally I lost it..I said "this is bs " and I hang up. Few minutes later doctor called me and telling me not be rude to her staff. She never bothered to find out what was the issue and why I wasn't happy..she was telling me her staff is always polite don't be rude to them. I was not rude to them ..they were not doing there job and so do you..now I realized your approves your staff to be that way..as medical professionals you and your staff should be shamed of your selfs..That's not the way polite, kind and professionals handle there job.
Dr. Seema, THANK YOU 💙! I have a loved one recovering from COVID-19 and Dr. Seema was ALWAYS available to consult with them. Day, night, early am hours, she was right there via telephone immediately! She's empathetic, calm, professional, and THOROUGHLY LISTENS to your concerns, thoughts and feelings. Lastly, her staff possesses the same characteristics 💙. Dr. Seema, 🤗 MAY GOD CONTINUE TO PROTECT & STRENGTHEN, YOU, YOUR STAFF & LOVED ONES, PHYSICALLY, PSYCHOLOGICALLY, SPIRITUALLY, FINANCIALLY & MENTALLY, during this health crisis emergency 🙏🏼. *Dr. Seema accepts Medi-cal 🙌🏽
There are so many issues. 1. Doctor says she will mail a referral and then there is nothing in the mail. We call and ask for updates and it's like the conversation never happened. Instead we are asked to come back in. She is not e-friendly, I wish she was so we could get the referrals and stuff immediately online. It would also help when we have to remind her because we can only nudge the receptionist and I'm not sure they actually check in or give her the messages. She did this for a blood and urine test too. She made an appt With us to discuss results of a blood test that hasn't even happened because she hasn't sent the referral. I'm tired of talking to her receptionist and not getting anything resolved. 2. She loves follow-up appointments. But there's no action between appointment and the follow-up. Like why are we meeting if there isn't something to follow up on? That too during a pandemic. The follow up was supposed to occur after us taking an extra urine test but that never happened. I had to call multiple times before they said okay, we can make it a Telehealth appt. and then, guess what?! She discussed exactly the same stuff from the original appointment. Suggested more tests. And we asked for a referral for the lab tests right then and there but here we are...4 weeks and two calls later. Nothing. Totally switching doctors. I do not recommend this doctor or this office. I take my elderly parent to her, I personally am not her patient.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
