List of Steven Eng, Md's Reviews
Dr. Eng is very professional. The office customer service is terrible. Every option on the phone goes to voicemail. It’s been over a week and my message has never been returned. My prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. I am so frustrated.
Dr. Eng does a good job but the office staff are terrible. I have waited in the back over an hour to be seen by Dr. Eng and the staff is regularly rude and unhelpful. They have hung up on me during phone calls when I was trying to get a prescription I needed refilled
Very caring doctor shows that his patience are important
In Memorial Care HMO group - bad communication Office staff swears up and down that I was not dropped as a patient, but then doc refuses to refill prescription for thyroid medication, 'because you're not his patient'. When half of your thyroid is gone, you kinda need your Levo/Synth to live. I had to go back to my pcp and start all over, and she's flipping out about TSH & T4 testing. Fine, I jumped through all of the hoops, but why, in a HEALTH MAINTENANCE organization am I jumping through any hoops at all? - I didn't die, I haven't moved, the other half of my thyroid didn't grow back, my insurance didn't change, same employer, same weight...What is the communication problem is this office? Kaiser would do a better job of patient contact & retention.
Dr. Eng is my most trusted and reliable doctor. He oversees my thyroid function, my A1C, my blood pressure and cholesterol. He listens and gives meaningful advice.
This doc is a POS! I have Addison’s Disease he knows bullshit about my disease. But takes the $$$ from my insurance! My ENT had to tell me I was dying and I needed to find an endocrinologist that cares, gets it etc! DO NOT GO TO THIS DOC IF TOU HAVE ANYTHING OTHER THAN DIABETES OR THROID ISSUE! He’s a moron! And does not care about the patient’s wellbeing or quality of life! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!
Dr Eng was very professional and spent time explaining my condition. Staff was extremely courteous. Not sure why they got bad reviews.
Office staff is rude, inconsiderate, disrespectful and that was just trying to schedule an appointment. I decided to check out the reviews after having this interaction, and the reviews explain everything! It’s truly sad for this doctor because he is rapidly losing patients due to his horrible staff. I don’t need the extra stress of dealing with rudeness when I already have stressors related to why I need to see an endocrinologist in the first place!
Dr. Eng is very thorough with patient care but the staff has no common sense or professionalism. They still require mask and of course they didnt mention anything before the appointment. I got there and they asked if I had a mask of course I didn't mask mandate ended 4/3/23. She said im not sure if we have any but you can go get some at Walmart. Who says that. Im so upset because we pay these people for patient care and they just disrespect you.Claudia apparently didnt have anyone to teach her manners.
I've been coming to this office for several years. I started off with Dr Kutis and then, when he retired, I switched to Dr. Eng. I totally understand what the other reviewers were saying about the office staff and wait time.Today was my first time back since the pandemic. When I walked into the office I actually thought that I made a mistake with my appointment. There was literally no one in the waiting room. I thought for a second that it was a day that he was at his other office. That wasn't the case. I got in and out. It was a completely different experience from you what I was used to having. I actually like Dr. Eng. I hope my experience today is going to be the new norm.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
