As a patient in raging pain from hives that have turned into blisters his comment that was relayed to me from his secretary was “your on a high dose of Xolair…I’m sorry there’s nothing more I can do for you” 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳

So thorough. Listens well even though he has a hearing impairment. His office staff were so gracious with me being late and still accommodating. Dr. Meltzer also was so thoughtful to describe the research and evidence behind why he would or would not make recommendations. This is particularly helpful with our 7 month old baby who is having many allergic reactions and severe eczema and we have received so many competing advice and recommendations from different friends, doctors, dermatologists, etc. so I was so thankful Dr Meltzer explained why the evidence and research backs whether he would or would not recommend something.

Dr Meltzer is a good doctor listens to what you have to say. Office is clean and nice ladies in the front. Recommend this doctor.

Dr. Meltzer is one of the best doctors i have ever had. He is very thorough and explains everything. The issue with going to see Dr. Meltzer is that you need to communicate with the staff. Some of them are ok, but you don't want to talk to Jennifer!! See is very Rude, Unprofessioinal and just not a good person. If you get on her bad side she will make you pay anyway she can. I give Dr. Meltzer an A+ and Jennifer an F-

I've been seeing Dr. Meltzer since I was a child for my allergies and asthma, and he is a wonderfully kind and patient person. In my experience, the staff are polite and professional. I will be sad when I have to switch doctors someday when I'm older!

Steven Meltzer needs to do a research about what is TSW（ Topical Steroids Withdrawal ) . If he had knowledge about the damage of prescribing a long period of the steroids over a patient's eyelid which would result in an ordeal of TSW for many years , he would be a lit more carful in dispensing steroids as dispensing candy. When I first visited Dr. Meltzer , I notify him all the medications including steroids that were prescribed by the previous doctors . Steroids should not be given for more than 2 weeks. Instead of stopping me from using steroids due to the previous prescriptions , dr Steven Meltzer ignorantly and mistakenly gave me more and stronger steroids over the very delicate eyelid areas. Dr. Steven Meltzer even gave me lots of samples that would last more than a couple of months . Due to his mistakes, I have had suffered TSW since 2016 . TSW is a nightmare no one should go through and I am still struggling with it after 5 years . I have had no energy to post my review because I have been too busy and fatigued in saving myself from TSW until now.

Today would have been my first experience with this office and I’m frustrated to report, my first visit was cancelled before ever happening. I made the appt approx 6 weeks ago. About 2 weeks ago, they left me a message there was an earlier opening, which I was unable to use. The next message I received was yesterday (1 day prior to my scheduled appt). It was recorded at 10:42 and stated if I didn’t call them by noon that day, they would cancel my appt. I am a working mom, and I didn’t receive that message until after business hours. I showed up at the appt anyways in hopes we could be seen and was told that they called me multiple times and I never confirmed, which was absolutely untrue. I showed them my voicemail log, they quoted their phone log. I asked what is the bottom line, are you going to see us or not and they said no and offered to reschedule. We declined and left. While the dr may be wonderful, the office staff is difficult. I called my phone provider to confirm if they called, they confirmed there were calls, but no messages other than the 2 received (only 1 being an appt confirmation with a 1 hour window to confirm). Had they actually left messages on prior calls, this would not have happened. I’m not sure why they think I would return every missed call on my phone (particularly since they come from a differnt phone number every time )They have my email and my complete info- they had plenty of other options available to them, which they did not use. They seem to think everyone is waiting for their calls and can drop everything when they have an opening. Sadly, we will not go back. I would never be able to trust that this wouldn’t keep happening. My time is too valuable to be wasted like this. Not a good fit for anyone who works normal business hours and doesn’t call back every missed call in their phone.

Dr. Meltzer is a good doctor it's a staff I have a problem with. My daughter started weekly allergy injections and on her second week of getting an injection my daughter was turned away because the staff said that they called to confirm her appointment and because I did not return and confirm the appointment they canceled her. A wasted trip a waste and gas and a waste of time this was unacceptable. If I wasn't going to be able to make the appointment I would call and cancel it they took it upon themselves to cancel an appointment because I didn't return a phone call and by the way I never received the phone call I never had a missed call from them or message on my cell and for that reason I will not be returning to this office I will be looking for another allergist! This isn't the first incident I've had with her staff they are rude!

Wow. This place is incredible!! Jennifer (front desk) is the most helpful, kind, "on top of it" person I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I would give her a thousand stars if I could. She treats everyone like they are her best friend and will do ANYTHING to get you whatever you need. She takes the time to truly help, even though she is so busy! Dr Meltzer is great too. He listens, he asks for your input, he cares and he truly wants whatever is best for his patients. I have been amazed by this place and would recommend them to anyone. In terms of Covid-19 precautions they are great! I was so worried, but they all wear masks and face sheilds and are behind huge plexiglass windows (front desk and doctor). They take everyone's temperature and do their absolute best so that patients are rarely ever in the waiting room with someone else (sometimes unavoidable but the waiting room is big and allows for more than six feet of distance).

This dr. Steven Meltzer is one of the Best !! When my two younger children's Asthma was out of control due to Allergies he figured out what other Drs. Couldn't figure out. Excellent Dr. For asthma and Allergies
