United Medical Imaging Of South Long Beach's Online Review Report Card

If google had a no star option, I wouldn’t be even giving them a star. I was hired with ZERO NO EXPERIENCE in the medical field, clearly the company knew. I was hired, quit my job, did the most to come to the training being taught by a BIG FAT WHITE LADY NAMED CINDY at this cite, and her teaching was unacceptable at the fact she had a nasty attitude and made this learning experience uncomfortable and horrible, she makes you feel as if you’re stupid and have no knowledge whatsoever to what you’re being taught. She made this experience overwhelming because she was teaching things about scheduling as well when we’re training for data entry, expected the students to learn everything at a fast pace at the second day, in a few hours throughout the second day. She was bothered at the fact I asked repeatedly questions concerning certain topics even another student asked her a question and ignored her in front of everyone. She had no patience with me or any other in the classroom, a student with NO experience and only trying to make her job right so she(me) doesn’t look bad, I don’t give my co workers a hard time on the following week I would be officially performing my training, and I don’t make the company (UMI) look bad. I sacrificed my time and a great job I had for this impatient rude horrible white big fat lady named Cindy. Not only did she made this teaching experience difficult for me but to another student in the classroom with her nasty unacceptable rude attitude, and on top she of that she violated my privacy and shared the reason why I was fired to the other students in the classroom while I was gone. Very unprofessional, not just her attitude but her language too. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT UMI!!!! This place is a joke, Optum needs to drop the contract with this company

Notified beforehand via phone confirmation of appointment to come 45 mins early.  I came an hour early and they made me feel that was bad.  Appointment was at 1:30pm, but waited for 30 mins AFTER my scheduled appointment before I was seen at 2:05 pm because the tech took a half hour break at 1:30 which was my appointment time.  The black girl at the desk tried to help but if the tech is on break, what can she do?  SMH.  Three workers asking for my previous results at three different times!  They do not communicate with each other.  And parking is not free.  $4 because I was there for 2 hrs.  No alcohol sanitizer in the waiting room.  There are other imaging centers around the area.  If you have insurance, go to another one.

Update - went back - total different experience. Tech Sadia, couldn’t ask for better. She treated me with respect. Accommodated my special needs (I’m. Handicap) and we got the test done in 20 minutes. (Was told at least an hour by first tech). My suggestion try a 2nd time with someone else. . 1st time - Tech was rude to me. And even straight up lied to me. How can you trust somebody touch your body for an hour that lies to you. I have COPD and I can’t lay flat on my back. She gave me no other options. But before we left my daughter found out the back of the table does tilt. didn’t have to go through all that. Could not do it. Had to reschedule to come back to a bigger office that the table tilts, stupid because that table tilted the whole time.Stupid waste of my time.Update - went back - total different experience. They give the wrong times that they are available over the phone. They are extremely inefficient. They don't do appointments so you can wait HOURS to get your X-Ray. There are so many more efficient places in Long Beach to do X-rays.

This is the most inefficient medical service provider I have ever been to. I was referred for x-rays. When called for an appt they told me they only do walk-ins for x-ray. The first time I go they tell me they cannot take me because of appointments ahead of me. I go today at 8:45 am and again they tell me they cannot take me until later today because there are appointments ahead of me. How do they have appointments ahead of me when they don't take appointments. This place was beyond my expectations based of the reviews ,. All the negative reviews must be Karened out,. Cristina was very helpful and knowledgeable,. I was running a little late but she went out of her way and made sure I was seen , very beautiful person ,. Please give her a raise staff 10 stars for her ,. Three years after visit got a derogatory on credit report.  They where sending bill to second old address. They never forwarded the copay amount to new address years apart witch where retuned to sender moved. Never called, emailed their concerns.

I have had xrays, mris and a CT scan at this facility, and I found the staff to be professinal, my doctors are happy with my scans and I am able to get copies when needed. I highly recommend this place.
