Waveimaging Long Beach's Online Review Report Card

Have had to come her several times for different exams or test. Very friendly and caring staff.

this review does not reflect on the staff at Wave Imaging.   it is the monopoly Wave Imaging has on Long Beach including Long Beach Memorial.  No appointments for xray.   WTW.  I went to three different offices over a weeks time period.  Like I have the discretionary time to seek out an xray office. Offices are over crowded.   People standing in the hallways.   Masks/no masks.   People in wheelchairs crammed into a 16x18 lobby.   WTW.   Straight up monopoly.   Struck out three times to get xrays.   Nope.  My Doctor will have to just do without the xrays.   Lousy medical care on the part of Wave Imaging.  Can't even imagine the grief the staff members get in these offices. PS   And just ty to find a corporate phone number.

A few weeks ago I went to the WaveImaging offices at the Long Beach, Lakewood and Signal Hill, California locations, between 3:45 p.m. -  4:15 p.m., shortly after seeing and being referred there by my Dr. at an earlier 2:00 p.m. appt that same day.  Each of those locations told me they had reached their capacity for the day.  Mind you, the offices are open until 5 p.m.  The offices at:  6440 South Street; 2708 E. Willow and 3828 Shaufele all turned me away.  Obviously I was fit to be tied.  Prior to driving around to all these locations I went to the one on San Antonio Drive first and was told they had moved to the one on South Street.  It went downhill  from there.  The following morning at 10:00 a.m.  I went back to the office on Willow and was told they didn't have an x-ray Technician.  I was about ready to call my Dr. and let him know what was happening but decided to try another one.  Left there and was finally able to get an x-ray done at the Lakewood location.  The wait was long but at least I got it done.  Oh, and by the way, the x-ray itself only took 5 minutes.  This business is so unprofessional.  I've never experienced anything like it.  Hire more staff and increase your hours.  The pandemic is making workers so lazy and good, quality customer services is very rare these days.  Many businesses are using the pandemic as an excuse to provide lackluster services.  There is absolutely no justification.  Clean up your act and provide the type of service that your patients deserve and that you, yourself would want.  In the meantime, I suggest anyone who needs an x-ray to make an appt or arrive super early.  They will turn you away without so much of a blink of an eye.

If you are referred here by your doctor, ask for a different imaging service.Heidi the Manager at the Long Beach Los Coyotes Blvd location made this simple Ultrasound appt more complicated than it should be.They do not return calls or answer their phone after making appointments incorrectly in different locations for incorrect procedures.This has been a nightmare trying to get an ultrasound of my shoulder.Avoid this place at all costs.

Horrible service. 8:00 am Waited for an hour at their initial office, before checking in. Finally an employee informs patients in the lobby and myself that their receptionist is not in at this time and they're sorry for the inconvenience in addition they moved location and don't bother to put a bulletin for patients to read announcing such changes. So not only did we wait in vain. I was given an incorrect address, called 5 times before I got through to someone to provided correct up to date address for X-rays. Arrived at said facility at 8:30 they inform me I won't be seen until 10:15 am due to X-ray service start time. It is now 11:30 am and I've been informed I'll be waiting another 2 hours. What's the point of the appt time and why is our time not valuable.

this place is disgusting and the people who work here are completely disrespectful to the patients.  They do not want to make an appointment schedule and they say that in two hours they attend you and in almost three hours they did not attend me and when I complain he tells me that if I want he can cancel me.  that's too much!!!  I go in to have my tests done and the place is dirty and the people are bitter as if this were charity!  but charge the insurance for thatif they know and it is very expensive.

Save your money and life.This place is all about taking your money if you have PPO insurance.I went had a mammogram. It came back "ABNORMAL".I had to go back for an ultrasound and another mammogram. Now, I had to come back for biopsy.The tech was not sure where to biopsy. She stuck a needle all  my breast.After the biopsy, I was called in to talk to the tech who told me she had biopsy a different area not the area I came for.Her explanation was that it had decreased in size.I know for a fact she made a mistake and that was her explanation.  Know i was told to come back in 6 months again for another mammogram to check on the area that was originally of concern.Now. I paid with my flexible spending card 1st and the reception told me that it had not gone through.  So I gave her my credit card to pay $460 for mammogram. They ended up charging me twice. When I contact the billing department they gave me the round around. They later increased the fee of the mammogram and kept  $150 of the double payment. I paid total of $1,650 and the area of concern was not biopsy.Do not go there .they will take your money if you have a PPO.They are under sooooo many different names is hard to no what the actual name of the company is.

GO literally ANYWHERE ELSE. Had an appointment at 4:15. I arrived at 4:05 as instructed. There were 10+ people in the waiting room. It was hot an uncomfortable inside. There was a leak from the ceiling with a trash can underneath it in the waiting room. At 4:40 I was told it would be another 30-40 minutes. At 4:50 I was told the doctor "HAD to leave" and my appointment needed to be rescheduled. I left without rescheduling. Huge waste of time. I scheduled my appointment in march.

I went for a mammogra, which I hate because they usually hurt but Tina made my experience painless she is calm patient kind and a real pro, I won't be afraid to have my much needed mammograms anymore as long as it is with Tina, so thank you kindly

I showed up to this place and the lady told me I didn't had an mri scheduled and l showed her the text message I had with my appointment and the date, time and address and she said they were backed up on clients and l needed to be rescheduled! What kind of professionalism is this? Would not recommend nor go here again!
