List of Yasaman Mohtasebi's Reviews
I visited this doctor as a new patient to discuss my Hashimoto's diagnosis. I told her about my journey so far with extreme fatigue and unexplained weight gain. I explained to her my workout schedule and diet. She said I did not have an issue and my tests were within the limits. I asked her why I had all of these other symptoms? She did not have an answer. When I asked her if she would retest my blood, she would not because I was just tested a few months earlier. This doctor is dismissive and it was a complete waste of my time to be essentially told my symptoms were 'in my head.' I cannot believe this doctor is represented by any insurance program. Do yourself a favor and find another endocrinologist, anyone else is better than her.
Very dismissive. She does not listen, frequently interrupts, and rushes through appointments. Arrogant and condescending. So much time wasted. There is a shortage of endocrinologists and she abuses this fact.

This person calling herself an endocrinologist should be considered fraud. She didn't understand that progesterone has a purpose, and thought "sublingual" was a word I made up. I got referred to her with a simple case, needing to continue existing prescriptions that were already working, and instead she made it her mission in every appointment to pressure me into stopping medications whose absence would cause rapid bone loss followed by death.
A diabetic Dr always always checks out patients feet specially as her first patient. She didnot do that and my moms ankle got worse to the point that she could no longer wear her shoes. She didnot spend time going over her meds till we intervened and helped her take care of my mom.
Rude, rushes the appointment, and does not listen. She does not usually have the patient's best interest at heart and knows she can get away with it because there is a large demand/need for more endocrinologists in the area with a 3-month waiting period to get an appointment.
She listens,is friendy, chooses the right treatment for you. She shows compassion and seems to really care. I like her. She is a doctor that treats the whole person, not just your ailments.
Not a good listener, unwilling/unable to think outside the box or find solutions for the human being in front of her. Recently changed locations, but seems like the same disorganized staff. Will not see this doctor again.

Was searching for a experienced endocrinologist but after looking at the outside of the office it made me nerves to get out of the car. An Old beat up house converted to office. Plus reading other bad reviews of the Dr I'm glad I did not follow up. No one answers the phone anyway!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
