Andre Maginot's Online Review Report Card

After reading the other reviews, seems like I encountered another world. Everyone was polite but business like. Dr. Maginot; I did not find gruff or anything but professional as was his staff. I had hernia surgery and everything went wonderful. He did a great job as far as I can tell. Reagan facility was great too as was the staff.

Dr Maginot needs to hire new office staff that are professional and know what they are doing! It is never acceptable to be rude to your patients. They are so unorganized and can never get anything scheduled without conflict. When someone who is not in the medical field and is asking questions about all the tests ordered, you should refer them to someone that knows the answer and not give them an attitude for asking a question. If you do not like your job, go do something else! No one asked to be seen by a cardiovascular surgeon so the least you all can do is be kind and do your job!

No words to describe the complete disrespect shown towards patients. My wait time was over a hour only to have no resolution for my hernia pain. Complete waste of time and insurance payment. Beware !

Doctor was fine but the staff at both offices could use some training on how to make appointments, how to at least act like you care about the patients, and when you say you are going to schedule an ultrasound and get back to someone in a day or two....do that, or at least return ONE of the phone calls inquiring about the ultrasound!!

My mother-in-law needed emergency surgery. Dr. Maginot clearly and thoroughly explained what he would do, what might happen, and what to expect. After the surgery he came out and explained the results, which were excellent. His follow-up care was excellent. I highly recommend him.

Excellent diagnosis, excellent preparation of the patient (me), excellent work, excellent follow up.

He is a bit gruff but funny, caring, and knows his stuff. Was very nice to my wife after the surgery assuring her all was OK... He is very busy because he is good which may give appearance of being gruff...

Every single time I call this office, they are so rude. The girls who answer the phones need to learn the definition of being polite. Probably one of the rudest offices I have ever called. Dr maginot should know how rude they are

This office is very unprofessional. I was referred there from urgent care because my leg needed immediate diagnosis. Scheduling me for an MRI was chaos. They kept trying to send me to labs that could not do what I needed or take my insurance. They finally got me scheduled with LB Memorial but the authorization was wrong. By the time I got my MRI, the treatment I needed was no longer possible. They also made me go back to the Lab to pick up my MRI disk. I later found they could see it online.

Left 7 hours waiting with no explanation of change of surgery time. Surgeon never waited to give me/patient an explanation of all the chaos. Out patient surgery I got home at 7:45 pm instead of noon and I have yet to hear from him. No contact to see if I'm ok after surgery. It is now 48 hours and no one has checked on me.
