What a wonderful experience I had at SoCal Eye! Everyone that I encountered, that worked with me, was absolutely great. Dr Hartman sets the tone for it all. He is such a perfectionist and he is very skilled. I was very nervous, having gone somewhere else before, where communication was lacking... not the case with Dr Hartman. He explained everything carefully, with confidence and he "listened" to my concerns. He has a terrific personality and beside manner. I had been struggling with really difficult cataracts for over a year. Today, I had my 3 week post op check up and I now have 20/20 vision without glasses! WOW! I couldn't be happier! Thank you Dr Hartman and SoCal Eye, for the gift of perfect sight! You are the best!

Dr. Hartman performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I am only 48 years old, and suddenly developed bilateral cataracts! After surgery, I was able to see 20/20! Even before cataracts, I had poor vision, so this was an incredible experience!!!! I have only great things to say about this doctor.

I dropped by Dr. Hartman's office because of a moderate allergic reaction to something that made my eyes swell up and they were able to squeeze me in at the last minute. Dr. Hartman is very friendly and knowledgeable. The ladies in working in the front office, Alondra, and Josh were all super kind and helpful while working through my registration, and prep before I saw doctor!

I guess this office is super busy that I no one cares to help me. I've been trying to make 1 appointment and after 3 weeks of calling and begging them, it still didn't happen. I try my best to provide whatever document they asked: I went to Family Dr to request Referal. I asked my Ins fax the authorization letter 2 times. I faxed and emailed the office myself too. They told me several times to wait for someone to call and no time frame and it has never happened 🤣 Can't think of whatelse I could do now... Frustrated.

Dr. Hartman is a very good Doctor but he no longer accepts Covered California -- Blue Shield of California--because their reimbursements are too low they said.He is Out of Network for Covered California Blue Shield of California all Plan Levels.

Dr. Carl Hartman is the best eye doctor I have been to. Everyone in the office goes above and beyond. From the front desk to the back office everyone was so kind and personable. They took a real interest in my needs. I was included in the treatment instead of just being "treated". I highly recommend this office!

Dr. Hartman has performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes and my husband’s. He is a terrific doctor and an eye surgeon who has all of our trust and respect.

I highly recommend Dr. Hartman and the entire staff at So Cal Eye. I had cataract/implant surgery and the entire experience from pre-op to post-op has been exceptional. The care is personal and the results were amazing. I couldn't be happier!

Dr. Carl is simply the best. I'm 67 years old and have been wearing glasses for both distance and reading since 1975. But, not any more. After a thorough examination/consultation, Dr. Carl recommended cataract surgery along with implants in both eyes using the latest technology solution referred to as extended depth of focus lenses. The procedure was flawless and my vision is now 20/20. He did my left eye and three weeks later my right eye. The results are amazing. Colors are crisp and my vision is amazingly clear. It's like changing the light bulbs in your home from fluorescent to LED. If you're looking for a professional who takes pride in his work, cares about his patients and will settle for nothing less than perfection, look no further.

Dr. Hartman is not only a great physician but a great teacher for those interested in medicine and in particular ophthalmology.
