Dr Ronlov was giving me internal injections for an intense lower abdominal pain that I was having. He attributed this to my piriformis muscle. The injections were very painful and weren't helping at all, but he kept insisting that was the problem. <br>My GP was shocked when I told him this saying that it was not the job of an OB/GYN to do such a thing and that, if it was my piriformis muscle, the injections should have been done externally.<br>I saw another OB/GYN and she said it sounded more like a cyst and/or endometriosis and that is indeed what it was.<br>The have no idea what he was doing and it doesn't sound like he did either.<br>My friend who actually recommended him came back to me and apologized because he began doing the same thing to her when it turned out she had endometriosis too. By the time another doctor had caught it, it had spread to her other organs.<br>I cannot speak to the patients who have gone to him for their pregnancies, but I sincerely suggest looking for another doctor if you are searching for a gynecologist.
I have been going to Dr. Ronlov for approximately 25 years. He is the best and I am very sad he has just retired. I had hoped he would work longer. He did a hysterectomy on me years ago and saved me from so much pain and suffering from endometriosis. He is a wonderful doctor who will be missed so much and hard to replace.

Dr Ronlov is very dedicated to his patients and their health needs. I would recommend him to anyone. He was called and delievered my baby girl at one in the morning. I couldnt be happier with my ob/gyn care. There are not many Drs with his professionalism and excellent bed side manners! Ps: if there is a wait, believe its because he is going to spend the amount he needs to with each of his patients and not the 15 min slot health companies aim for to meet productivity and revenue.

He delivered all 4 children of mine. The last one was a late miscarriage, and the third one had gastroschisis. I had a slight scare with my second one, but isbwas a false positive for Down syndrome. Dr. Ronlov made my experience go very smoothly. He was very considerate, and very determined on doing anything he could possibly do to make my husband and I more comfortable, and number one making sure our child was of the utmost importance. He is extremely calm, and made every delivery a smooth experience. He is a doctor you want, one that is in tune with what you want, and actually cares. Thank you Dr. Ronlov for everything you have done for my family and I.
Dr Ronlov has been my doctor for a number of years and his office by far has the rudest most incompetent unprofessional staff that I have ever experienced among all of the doctors' offices. This office has gotten worse every year and this most recent visit has been a nightmare. <br><br>I was in the office waiting for almost 2 hours and history and physical exam totaled less than 10 min. They kept lying about the wait to all of the patients just to shut them up. I overheard the staff laughing and made fun of patients outside the room. The doctor seemed extremely stressed out and angry at times. <br><br>Medicine is an extremely competitive business and besides it is unacceptable to treat patients as such.
If your in pain with endometriosis and need a doctor to help. He is NOT your guy. Don't waste your precious time. Never felt more judged in my life. He saw my pain (ER week earlier) and sent me back to work without any help. I was officially diagnosed with a medical condition that lists Severe abdominal pain as it's top symptom but that wasn't enough. I've learned DO NOT ask for any prescription pain meds from these doctors. They will refuse you and make you go to ER if your in big pain. All I want is my life back! Who WANTS a hysterectomy?? Nobody!! I've been in pain so long that it has driven me to that conclusion. I don't need a fuzzy nice doctor but I do want a doctor that believes me. Just my experience. Look into Dr. Cook in San Jose! Good luck!
My experience with Dr ronlov during my pregnancy was great, he's a friendly caring doctor. He answers to your question and tell you everything you need to know. But the day was I already going to have my baby he wasn't even there I had an emergency pregnancy and he wasn't there while my baby was born so basically he was just there during my pregnancy but on my delivery date he wasnt. The doctors at hospital had to deliver my baby and i didnt even know them at all and I didn't like how they glued me back with my c section scar they made it all lumpy I trusted this doctor but he failed. Won't go back to him again.
Dr. Ronlov removed a cyst growing from my left ovary two years ago & most of my ovary went with it. The cyst was the size of an IV bag or grapefruit and was filled with 1000 cc's of fluid. If i hadn't discovered this it would have kept growing and could've turned cancerous. If Dr Ronlov wasnt such a caring and amazing surgeon i could have had many complications. i was only 16 at the time, and i'm reading all these negative reviews... absolutely not. his staff might be rude, but you can't say anything bad about him. i've never liked a doctor before, but this man saved my life.
Seriously don't bother. They asked me to arrive 45 minutes early and then said the appointment wasn't confirmed if I scheduled it online. It was a huge waste of time and I missed work for this. Honestly, try anywhere else and don't ignore the reviews like<br>I did.
I had surgery from Dr Ronlov Carsten, and it was a mistake, he lied about my surgery, I immediately with into menopause, i told him I didn't want this, now he pretty much not seeing me, dont go to this doctor for ovarian cyst problems. Please ladies always get a second opinion.
Dr Ronlov has been my doctor for a number of years and his office by far has the rudest most incompetent unprofessional staff that I have ever experienced among all of the doctors offices. This office has gotten worse every year and this most recent visit has been a nightmare. I was in the office waiting for almost 2 hours and history and physical exam totaled less than 10 min. They kept lying about the wait to all of the patients just to shut them up. I overheard the staff laughing and made fun of patients outside the room. The doctor seemed extremely stressed out and angry at times. Medicine is an extremely competitive business and besides it is unacceptable to treat patients as such. Then in about a few weeks I was notified via email to log into my account to view the results of my PAP and HPV. They both were normal. However neither PAP and HPV were performed. I was alarmed and called the office several times requesting ask to speak to Dr Ronlov and I never received a call back for months now. Patients lives are at risk and physicians and practices make up data and procedures to bill insurance companies need to be stopped.
Overdue! I have been seeing Dr. Ronlov since my first pregnancy back in late 2015, and am still seeing him for my 2nd pregnancy, and due this September. <br><br>I want to keep things clear and tothepoint:<br><br>1. Dr. is very patient, clear and understanding. Answers all questions!<br>2. That being said, ASK! I felt very fortunate to not be bombarded with tons of do's and don'ts. <br> So if you're looking for a "guide to pregnancy 101," this isn't it. LOL. He won't freak you out.<br>4. Knowledge you can tell that he's very experienced in what he does, and will rarely worry <br> you or cause any unnecessary concern to you. <br><br>I remember asking him, "So I'm hearing and seeing tons of stuff about what I should or shouldn't be doing, and these people are getting this from their doctor's you, however don't seem that way?" He responded: "You know, there's a whole lot involved in pregnancy, so many factors and so many facets, especially for a first time mom, it can be overwhelming. And the truth is, there isn't a whole lot you can't do."<br> <br>But the most important thing I can say is, honestly, how comfortable I always felt and feel. The nurse's and staff were and are great to me in my personal experience. <br><br>As far as administration goes, other than being friendly and helpful, the staff was always responsive and diligent with all maternity leave paperwork that had to be done and also took care of their end for the state disability enrollment. I never had any issues.<br><br>There are some fees for paperwork to be filled out. I believe it was $25.<br>The new location charges $3 to park, and the office will validate and you only pay $2 direct to them.
If I were only rating Dr. Ronlov, he would have given a 5 star!! I recently moved back to southern California and learned that the doctor who delivered my first child had moved to Northern California. I found Dr. Ronlov and made an appointment after finding out we are due with our third child.<br>He was very thorough, caring, and made me feel that there was nothing to worry about with just having a baby 6 months earlier.<br>He made a great first impression and I highly recommend him!!<br><br>The reason for the 3 stars would be the office staff. I believe I was there for more than 2 hours on my first visit. The nurse who called me back, used my last name to summons me. I confirmed the first name and she had to double check the file and come back to the door to tell me it was me she was calling in. She said it was a privacy measure but I feel that a last name is more private than a first name. That was really odd to me.<br>She then checked my weight and read it wrong. I corrected her, just to be sure she was going to record it correctly on paper, and she laughed and said something like it sounded more flattering how she read it. To me, that was so rude. I am well aware or the range of weight I'm in and I don't care what sounds more flattering. I wasn't there to win a weight contest. From that point I just wanted her to get my info and leave so I can see the doctor. She took more info and also asked which pharmacy I go to in case I needed any medications. We chose one and when I wrote the address down to reference later, I realized it was their medical center address that she had given me, not a pharmacy that I chose.<br>They were also in the process of transferring to a new computer system for patients and information and the nurses said that's why the visit was taking so long.<br>When I was done seeing Dr. Ronlov and needed to check out, I was not directed anywhere so I assumed I was to make a follow up appointment at the desk where I checked in. When I walked out the exam room and to the waiting room where the front desk was, one of the receptionists gave me a strange look. That receptionist was standing at the door (where the nurses call you back to an exam room) and asked if I needed something. I told her yes, I need to make another appointment. She told me that I needed to go back in to the back desk and they would give me one there. <br>The interesting thing about that is, the nurse at the back desk watched me walk out of the exam room and to the waiting room door without saying a word.<br>I was a bit annoyed at this point. I went back, made my appointment and left.<br><br>My next monthly appointment is coming up and depending on this office's second impression will determine if I return. I would hate trying to find another great doctor but if that means better and more friendly office staff, I will.
Dr. Ronlov took his time with me and was able to answer any questions and concerns with ease. He has a very calm demeanor which is very helpful while pregnant. I feel that he went above and beyond to ensure the safety and health of my baby as well as myself. His staff was always super nice and helpful as well. If I ever choose to have another baby he will definitely be my provider.
Great place the office was nice and clean staff was friendly. Dr Ronlov was wonderful
Dr Ronlov is very warm and friendly. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He takes his time with you and I feel like is very willing to answer any questions. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing an obgyn.
Dr. Ronlov is awesome! He's been my OBGYN for several years. When my hubby and I decided to start a family he was able to determine what could have been contributing to my recurrent pregnancy loss. After surgery to correct the issue I am now the proud mom of two children. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things to you. He doesn't bombard you with too much information so if you have a question make sure to ask! <br><br>Since he sees all of his OB patients there have been a couple of times where I waited a long time in the waiting room because he had to attend to an emergency surgery/labor. But I would rather wait and see one doctor than being passed around to any doctor available who don't know my history. <br><br>I highly recommend Dr. Ronlov!
I like him, because he does not do unnecessary things. He focus on nature of pregnancies and does not tell me 'don't do this, don't eat these...' As myself a veterinarian, he's practice seems clear, crisp, minimally invasive, logical. Very satisfied so far.
