Dr. Abedi is great, professional, knowledgeable, and patient! He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He truly takes his time to go over and beyond as a doctor to do his best and help his patients with health issues. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent specialist.
Excellent urologist. He has great bedside manners and treats the whole patient. He was attentive to all my concerns and I am happy to be his patient.
I was very disappointed with the appointment with this doctor. He did nothing to address the immediate discomfort I was experiencing other than suggest a drug that had the possibility of making me blind. No alternative medication was offered. When I called the next day for help, the nurse said she would talk to him and get back to me. That never happened. I got a call from the nurse at 8:30 the next morning where she told me she tried three times to get ahold of him and couldn’t and that I should go to the ER if the pain continued. I told her that this level of care was unacceptable, especially given it was UCSD who prides itself with excellence. I went to my GP and received the care I needed. I told the nurse to tell the doctor he was fired. You just don’t leave a patient in pain hanging like that.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
