List of Linda T Wang's Reviews
I wanted to add something to my 3yr old review in hopes Ms Linda Wang actually reads this. Remember every appointment with me youd walk in saying wow you are so thin. wow why are you so thin? Funny because you are supposed to be the doctor? Youd think shed offer some diagnostic tests? No she never did, not once. AND GUESS WHAT!?!I WAS FOUND TO HAVE CELIACS DISEASE. Dr. Linda Wang is the most incompetent doctor I have ever experienced. Thanks for letting me suffer all those years under your care. You are truly a terrible person and I hope no one else comes to you for medical advice. You clearly have no idea about endocrinology , or managing type 1 diabetes. AVOID WANG LIKE COVID.
I have been with Dr. Wang for several years. She is professional, takes her time answering questions. I have never had a bad experience including with staff.
This Doctor in Los Alamitos is just for collecting money. Doctor referred there for hormones test because of hot flashes, hoping good counselling and desired test we went there. She just came in the doctore room ask what is happened then she said this and that. if she was not case related doctor why she accepted patient? why her receptionist call us for appointment? why they didnt check referral specification?? Neither counseling, Nor touch to the patient, Neither referral, Nor little advice no test. She gave about three sentences of non stop incurable, problems unrelated thoughts then left the room. Her receptionist took $100 as copay before hand then may be about $100 from HMO. still she is not satisfied and billing to home about $70. we dont know for what ????
Just had my initial visit with Dr. Wang and was very impressed with her professionalism and direct approach. She was very thorough with reviewing my primary care doctors treatment and medication approach and her recommended changes. My visit was over 45 minutes long and she gave me her complete uninterupted attention. I feel strongly that she will help improve my condition.
Shes a competent physician with a fairly good understanding of diabetes control. However I cannot say the same about her office staff. I have to call several times to get prescriptions refilled and with each contact Im always reassured by her staff that they will take care of it and call the pharmacy. Unfortunately, most times they either forget or dont act like they care and so the pharmacy is never contacted. Due to their lack of responsiveness even CVS will not bother to contact her anymor
Ive been going to Dr. Wang for a couple of years. I find her friendly and caring. I also like not having to wait long too see her after arriving for an appointment.
I would give Linda T Wang no stars if it was possible. This was the worst experience that I have ever had with a doctor. Despite their insistence that all records be sent to them prior to even scheduling an appointment, when I showed up to my appointment they asked me about my current labs. Um. You should have them already. They were sent over supposedly before I scheduled the appointment 3 months prior. So, she had no labs to look at, and her first comment to me was "why are you here?"

Clearly this is off to a bad start. So I mentioned my symptoms and that my primary doctor suspects I have pcos, she replied with "why would your doctor suggest this? No. Its not that" (despite having ALL of the classic symptoms!).

She then tells me that there is nothing she can do about any of my concerns (hair falling out rapidly? "Nothing I can do about that" I'm having trouble losing weight despite exercising and a healthy diet. "You need to eat less and exercise more." Excuse me? I already do strength training 23 times a week and cardio 5 times a week! I already eat a healthy, low carb vegan diet.) Could you be a little more empathetic and actually listen to what I am saying instead of ignoring it or assuming I am lying?!? I left the place in tears.

The kicker is that I am charged 350$ for a comprehensive exam. Nothing was done!! She had nothing to even go off of because they didnt actually have my health records and all she did was tell me to see a nutritionist and exercise more. Oh, she did feel my glands, but that was it. It feels like insurance fraud to claim she did a comprehensive exam!!

Find another doctor. They can't be as bad as my experience was with her.
Dr. & Office staff is unprofessional!
Dr. Wang is to the point and if you need hand holding, she is not for you. She is compassionate & understanding but what I care about, is making sure my health is improving or at least stable. She knows her stuff. The work is up to me and her job is to help me with the best professional care she can give. What is NOT within my control, I have to seek elsewhere (spiritually, group, other doctors opinions & educate myself.)
I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews or if things have changed recently. I have been visiting Dr. Wang for about 6 months now consistently about once a month, due to my critical Hyperthyroid condition. She's very understanding and straight to the point. I can see why some people can't handle that, but as for me I don't like to waste time and do small talk. She always recaps my previous visit and see how the change in meds are going and then directly to what is the next step. When I expressed my illness escalating, she was quick to accommodate to my needs by switching my meds and increasing certain dosages as she find fit. I am no doctor, therefore I put my trust in her and going based off of my lab results what makes most sense. So far my treatment has been great and more than I had expected. She even went as far as calling after hours to make sure I am cycling my meds correctly before my nuclear procedure.

As for the front staff, they are all very kind and I have never once had an issue. I don't expect them to sweet talk or some sort of red carpet entry. They see me come in, I just sign in and they say hello with a smile. I sit down and wait until they call me up. My wait times has always been under 30 minutes, its a doctors office I've been through much longer waits at other doctors.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
