Omid Vahdat, Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Vahdat is the most exceptional cardiologist that I have ever seen. Year after year he has been named one of the top interventional cardiologists in Orange County for a reason. Even though I moved recently, I travel from New York to visit him because he takes the time to explain in great detail the course of my care, the benefits and risks of certain therapies, and never makes me feel rushed or unimportant despite his busy schedule. I am profoundly grateful to have a doctor as compassionate as he is. Trust me, that it is extremely rare these days. Many nurses even commented to me that he was their favorite doctor while I was in the hospital! I feel truly lucky to have a doctor like him.

Dr. Vahdat saved my dad's life. When we came into the Los Alamitos emergency, Dr. Vahdat new instantly what was wrong with my dad and then took appropriate actions. Thank you Dr. Vahdat.

Dr. Vahdat saved my life this weekend, I'm so grateful for his care and may God bless him and his staff that treated me with such professionalism and compassion for my feelings and health.

I have recently found DR Vahdat and must say I am very impressed. Not only is he very well qualified but is easy to be with. He explains everything where I can easily understand them and is a very warm and caring individual. I think I am safe in his capable hands.

Vacation 2013 My husband & I were on vacation, the 1st one EVER without our children. We were in San Pedros doing the self guided tour of the World War II Battleship USS Iowa, when I started having symptoms. I have Multiple Sclerosis and it causes all types of issues, so I really didn’t think anything of it. Just thought I’d overexerted myself with the incline onto the ship. 2hrs later, I became a patient of Dr Vahdat’s. I’m so thankful that I was were I was when it happened. He & the staff at the hospital took excellent care of me, when I was released from the hospital, he insisted that I follow up with him the next day. He ran every possible test that was available before he’d release me to fly home at the end of the week. I can assure you that if I’d been in my home state, that I wouldn’t be here to write this review. I’m a survivor of a DOUBLE a widow maker thanks to Dr Vahdat.

He's a smart doctor but he doesn't listen to patients who are young. Doesn't give a diagnosis and just puts you on meds with no explanation. If you ask him questions the office will make you seem like you are the problem because you are questioning him. If you're old, go here, if you're young He won't respect you.

I was fortunate to have seen Dr Vahdat as a patient! He is amazing…great fund of knowledge and provided compassionate care. Fabulous doctor! I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a cardiologist!

Dr. Vidat is very knowledge, professional, and friendly. He listens to you and spends the time necessary.

I have been diagnosed with Atrial Septum Aneurysm and was told by the Dr to come back to his office in two weeks so he can check on the size and start me on the correct treatment of blood thinners. I made the appointment, it was for a Saturday, Dr. Said that was a great day to do what he needed to. Get to the office and was told Dr. Vahdat wasn't there and I wasn't on the schedule. I have the card with the appointment?, so again I left the office just like two weeks ago, feeling very uneasy about my health. This previously happen at his office with a regular appointment once before. The front office is very incompetent, and Dr. Vahdat is loosing credibility due to it. I'm sure he is a great Dr. , however this is not acceptable.

I first encountered Dr. Vahdat at Long Beach Memorial hospital. I saw him for the next two years while I lived in the area. From the moment he started to care for me in the hospital I could tell that he sincerely cared about his patients and was empathetic to them and what they were going through. He is very thorough as well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vahdat to anyone who needs a cardiologist. I moved from the area and am no longer in his care, but I will always appreciate the excellent quality of care he provided me.
