Knee replacement is a very scary thing and I really do put my faith in Dr. Perry Secor in mid July but please... I hope the front office and surgery scheduling will start showing me some love! Update... moved from 4• to 5... got the communication I needed!

Dr. Secor is so nice and friendly. I just enjoy his conversation. He is so patient and professional. He tell you the truth and don’t put profit over patient’s needs. If you really really need surgery, he’ll tell you. If he can treat you an alternate way, he’ll do that too. I highly recommend him.

You can’t get the office staff to honor your preferences. After a dozen calls between me and my insurance company trying to get this office to honor my rights as a patient, 10 days later I’m still trying to get through to them that they need to resubmit the request to my insurance so I can go to the imaging center a mile from my home, instead of the one that would cause me to drive an extra 20 miles, where I’m certain the parking fees are an additional $5 that I wouldn’t have to pay here close to home. The staff isn’t exactly rude, but this is disrespectful and frustrating, leaving one to question if it’s a tactic so they might get a referral bonus… idk, why else are they being so difficult? I’m about to file a complaint with the AMA and my insurance company. I don’t want to do that because the few moments I met with Dr. Secor he seemed pleasant. Then again, why is his staff being so difficult? Then again, you go in for a 2:00 appointment and aren’t seen till 4:00, and aren’t out till nearly 5:00, ensuring you pay the max amount for parking. I think they’d rather validate than get a bill for wasting my time. Update. As of 10 minutes after writing this review I get a call back telling me the authorization is in the works. However, when I called a week ago to reschedule my appointment, they did not cancel the one I was rescheduling. Nor did the person who called me last night cancel it when she said she was going to cancel it, as she was obviously annoyed with the fact that I haven’t gotten my mri done yet at the location they originally chose; despite my own, my insurance company and even my choice of imaging center’s multiple attempts to get them to change the authorization. Thankfully the call I just received telling me they’re working on the authorization offered to reschedule my appointment for today… you know the one I already rescheduled… yea.. and it is rescheduled, but my appointment for today was not cancelled when I originally rescheduled, or last night when I got the annoyed woman who called and said she was going to. The person I just spoke with said it was a good thing she’s cancelling it now, otherwise I’d owe a no show fee!!! Yea! A no show fee after I rescheduled and they failed to cancel the appointment twice when they told me they were going to. All because they supposedly have TWO companies that control the scheduling! Idk if I feel safe at a place where only 1/2 the office people I’ve talked to there know why they’re doing… unless hitting patients with unfair fees is their job

Dr. Secors staff is very unprofessional and also very rude. They do not call back when they say they will and also Roxanne is the worse she hung up on me twice. I asked to speak to the office manager or someone in charge and she hung up. They really need to rethink who they hire. The operators that answer the phones are supposed to be compassionate and she definitely does not have that kind of bone in her body. RUDE!!!
