My mom was assigned to Steven by her insurance; however, when I called to schedule a first appointment for my mom, the receptionist rather rudely stated that they do not accept my mom's insurance. It made me wonder why they are listed with that insurance. I do not know how good is the doctor, but he needs to get someone nicer to answer the call.
Very caring. Excellent bedside manner and truly cares about his patients physical and mental well-being.
This Doctor was so good to me. I could tell he genuinly cared and was easy to talk problems with through. He seemed like he wanted to everything he could to help and we talked about other things to lighten up the conversation aswel. All around great guy! Highly recommend being nice to him!

To date: My experiences with Dr. Becker and the majority of his staff have been stellar. I would recommend them to everyone. Definitely 5 star rating. The exception here is one person. Ashley.I can’t rate her individually on this service, so by splitting the difference, everyone has to be affected, unfortunately.I did my homework first and based on the information I received, placed a call to the office about a prescription that had not been filled. To be fair: The pharmacy gave inaccurate information regarding the prescription. Because of this and having had similar issues with office staff before, my overall tone was from the inconvenience of trying to solve the riddle of what was taking place and not directed at any individual. I left a message.I received a call back from Ashley initially stating the cause of the issue was not on their end. She continued to fill me in on the events she thought contributed to the problem. According to this info, it appears everything had started with the pharmacy. (Ok, now this makes sense) But, before I could comment, acknowledge or apologize for my prior intonation, Ashley says: “Next time don’t be so accusatory.” (Now I’m paying close attention to every word) “They lied to you and they lied to us and they didn’t even have the right information. So, you need to ..”I was pretty cool about the whole thing until I detected a rather self-righteous air about the manner in which she was speaking to me. I don’t argue with people over the phone and I certainly wasn’t about to get into it with her.I let her finish. I said, “Ok, bye.” and contacted the pharmacy who then sent proof that the issue wasn’t theirs. Proof I’ll gladly provide to anyone who asks.I don’t like liars and I’m easily annoyed by self-righteous, privilege. The worst of them though, is people who are in service positions that should not be. This is my opinion of someone who should probably be elsewhere and not dealing with the public at large.
We just had our first Appointment with Dr. Becker after being with Kaiser for over 20 years. We were able to get in quickly to see him and he is already belong my mother who was diagnosed with dementia but our past primary doctor wouldnt allow us to see a neurologist. He called me back on the same day I left a message and all of his staff are very helpful.
I've been seeing Dr. Chow for about 10 years, since I switched from Kaiser to Blue Shield, and was assigned to him be default. I have never been super impressed, but after a few disappointing experiences I have decided to move on to a new doctor after doing some research. I have had allergies and asthma my whole life, and he tried prescribing a few ineffective prescriptions before realizing he needed to refer me to a specialist. Coming from Kaiser, I didn't realize that I needed to ask for a more experienced doctor for those issues, but he should have known and sent me sooner. My most recent frustrating experience was when I had a very irritating and scary looking rash on my face. My allergy specialist doctor suggested that it was eczema and gave me a treatment. When that failed, I went to Dr. Chow who laughed when I said that my allergy doctor had said it was eczema, but he also couldn't tell me what it was and to put hydrocortisone cream on it. When I asked for a referral to see a dermatologist since I had been suffering with this painful rash for two months, he said to come back in two weeks to get a physical and then he would give me a referral. I was very frustrated at this point that he couldn't help me and wouldn't send me to someone who could. At this point I called blue shield, told them my situation, then they followed up to ask for my dermatologist referral. When I finally saw a dermatologist, she said the hydrocortisone cream probably made it worse, and it also was not eczema. I now have learned how important it is to see a specialist for most health issues, and Dr. Chow should be quicker to refer to the patients to the correct doctor. The only pro I can offer for this doctor is that I have always been able to get an appointment quickly. But I have not had a great experience with him as my primary... time for a change.

If you are apart of the trans community and are looking for Hormones, please go somewhere else. When the appointment was booked and we had stated that we were there for a refill of hrt (because we had just recently moved back into town and needed a new prescription/Doctor) it wasn’t until we paid the copay and saw the doctor that we found out he doesn’t even prescribe hrt but will refer you to another doctor who can. Although the receptionist was nice it absolutely does NOT makeup for the fact that this “professional” who KEPT MISGENDERING MY FIANCÉ. Not once but multiple times!! Even though my fiancé has correct legal paperwork for name changes/gender marker, and has never met us before. I don’t understand how someone could even begin to call themselves a professional doctor who was “big” in the trans community that continues to misgender their patients. My fiancé was disrespected and I wouldn’t want that to happen to anyone else, so please save your money and time by going someplace else!
Amazing experience at this office. The Dr. Becker was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He’s got great bedside manners and follow-up care. The entire staff is extremely pleasant and I would highly recommend!

Always takes time to listen and answer questions. Will call and follow-up if needed. Been my GP for many years.

This office is a bunch of crooks. They said I had an appt with him over text and I never even contacted them. I don't even know who they are. Just crooks trying to get money from people
I find Dr Becker excellent as a Doctor and find his staff very helpful and prompt in following up on referrals and authorizations! I highly recommend Dr Becker. In fact my nephew and his wife also go to Dr Becker and have similar experiences.
Excellent service! My bf has an injury in his knee and we didn't know what to do cuz if covid and dr's not seeing new patients. He took us immediately after calling and went straight to the point and issue. He's nice, friendly and he has great staff. So glad we located him
