List of Steven T. Forman, Md's Reviews
Avoid this cardiologist. He is incompetent and greedy. He performed a procedure on my mother that I had a prior discussion with him about regarding my concerns that didn't turn out well. This cardiologist took advantage of me in ER for greed. My mother would still be alive if she would have been given antibiotics and a B-pap. This doctor saw an opportunity to make money off of my mother's life. This cardiologist never bothered to check my mom's kidney function and used a dye that I had previously warned him about that I didn't want in her body.
An excellent cardiologist who takes his time and thoroughly answers all questions. I had severe aortic stenosis and Dr. Forman just performed a heart valve replacement on me. No pain and very quick recovery. I feel fantastic. You can't do better.
I met DR Foreman through DR Gold, a wonderful Cardiologist, when he was given the job of putting two stents in my heart. DR Foreman put me at ease and carried out both procedures (different dates) with precision and accuracy. I don't know if the one star person was left waiting because of my procedure but I know I was very impressed with DR Foreman's ability and focus on what he was doing and I'm sure had I been that one star patient I'd at least have given him a chance to apologize and explain, which I have no doubt he would have. As well as being an expert at doing my procedures after DR Gold retired I made DR Foreman my Cardiologist of record and have never been disappointed. You would not make a mistake seeing him for any cardiology issue.
Dr Forman and Dr Izar, 6.19.16. I'm grateful to say they saved my life that day. Palpitations over 300. Then a couple of bowles. Ended with a defibrillator. No words can express my appreciation to both of them.
Worst doctor appointment ever Worst doctor experience ever! I needed a new cardiologist after my old one moved out of state. Dr. Forman was recommended by my wife and neighbor. I had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment. After filling out the usual forms I was taken to an exam room and left there for one hour. No one came by and told me what was causing the wait or how long it was going to be. As I was getting ready to leave Dr. Forman showed up. He asked how I was doing and I said I was seconds away from leaving. He asked why and I said because I had been waiting for an hour. Rather than apologize or explain he said "so I should have cut the procedure I was doing short because you're impatient ". Seriously?!? He wastes an hour of my time and then gets annoyed with me because I'm not happy about it. I stood up, told him what I thought of him, and walked out. I have never encountered this kind of rudeness in a health care professional before. It makes me wonder how much he really cares for his patients.

I understand all about waiting and unavoidable delays but usually I get an apology or an explanation or both. I've never waited this long for a scheduled appointment and then be told it's my fault for being impatient. Usually this kind of crap gets blamed on the staff but this is squarely on the doctor and no one else.
He was my father’s cardiologist and saved his life allowing us to have many more years with our dad. He also treated him with compassion and respect, even though my father could be difficult at times. Thank you Dr Foreman.
Excellent choice for your Cardiologist After my regular Cardiologist had to retire I chose DR Foreman, who had place two stents in my heart, as my primary Cardiologist. He has done proper testing and followup on the procedures and, IMO, is an excellent DR for heart problems. He always makes time for any questions I have and never rushes me even when I ran after him down the hallway when I remembered something I had forgotten to ask he stopped and politely answer everything I needed to know. I highly recommend him.
Excellent cardiologist doctor. Listen to patient and easy to communicate. Good manner and respectful. Very happy for my personal care
Dr. Forman is very knowledgeable. However, he discharged me because he kept pushing me to get bypass surgery and I kept pushing back, because I felt fine with no adverse symptoms. When I asked him if getting surgery would prevent me from getting another heart attack, he said no. Isn't that the point of "treatment?" (Especially a procedure that costs $150K and has a long recovery time!) He also DEMANDED to know why I wasn't taking my statin medication. I told him I was concerned about long-term side effects, especially diabetes. I knew he discharged me because: 1) At the end of the last visit, he made no mention of follow-up appointments or testing; and 2) I received final bills from his office for my insurance co-pays due. That was a cowardly move on his part, for not telling me directly he no longer wished to see me, which says a lot about his character--or lack thereof!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
