We love Dr. Tran! She has been seeing my son since he was born. She has great energy, super friendly, and is really patient and warm to both my sons. Dr. Tran always addresses my concerns and provides great feedback and advice. I highly recommend her!

Love this practice. Dr. Kaplan and the other doctors have all been great. Patient and kind and taking their time with us. Yes you will wait a while for your appointment, just like every single other doctor we see. Seriously if you have a doctor that is always exactly on time for your appt let me know where because I’ve never experienced that myself.
If you’re late an hour or so, you should apologize or recognize it. Being late happens, but have some manners. I know they are rude to you when you’re late 5 mins.
Dr. Tran was to help Ann Bucholz receive rehab extention to enable her to regain her leg strength after falls/injuries and hospital. He told Ann he understood she was fearful of falling again and would work on her behalf. He did NOT and did NOT return her many calls and requests. Ann was released and is not at home with same conditions leading to her injuries from falling.
While the doctors are wonderful, good luck getting to see one. After missing appointments for COVID, we decided to do our annual check ups. First, the two children weren't scheduled with the appointment we set up. After resolving that and needing to come in earlier, we came in and sat for 45 minutes waiting to be seen and finally left without being seen. If your time isn't valuable to you and you want to spend your whole day to get ten minutes with a great doctor, go ahead. Otherwise, I suggest looking elsewhere. I don't use my health insurance much but still pay a full amount. An annual check up should not be asking too much.
Love love love this practice. I had been seeing another ped for 5 years but they stopped accepting patients that were not medi-cal so when my son was born I was forced out i was sad and angry but it brought me to Los Al Peds and I wish I had moved sooner. I have seen most of the docs here all are amazing. Anytime I have needed an appointment they fit us in my kids like them they are clean and patient. Wait times are never long sick and well rooms office staff are always smiling and polite huge improvement from our previous ped office staff was awful but doc was great. I have never regretted the move here.
We always get a nurse practitioner, never the doctor, no matter how sick my kid was. We later found out in the emergency room that My kid had pneumonia. But prior to that, the nurse kept telling us it was just constipation. The nurse ignored the high fever, and stomach pain on 2 different visits in one week time! Tylenol and Motrin is what the nurse recommend.
If I could leave zero stars, I would. This office is a dump......poor lighting, filthy broken toys, and a rude office staff will greet you. The doctors are kind, but the office staff and environment and parking are NOT worth your trouble. Find a better place to take your sweet babies.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
