Frank L Annis's Online Review Report Card

I made sure he's within my insurance network, but when I made an appointment, he said that my insurance takes too long to pay him, so he told me to pay out-of-pocket. I double checked with my insurance, and was told he IS indeed in the network and that I should only pay the co-pay. If he doesn't want to accept a particular insurance then why doesn't he just get out of the network???

All I can say is that he doesn't care about his patients but will prescribe anything you want. He will see you for 5 minutes maybe 10 minutes top, and sometimes want to replace in-person sessions with a call. All he cares about is his money.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of this review, I must remain anonymous. Frank Anis is a genius & a heartfelt wonder. I have and will continue to refer family and friends. I trust his process and insights without reservations. My reoccurring PTSD is gone. His work and tools are still part of my life and my family’s wellbeing. I cannot recommend Dr. Anis highly enough! Dr Annis is thorough and understanding. I've had a wonderful experience being his patient. Appts are always right on time.

The most important thing I can share about Dr. Annis is that he believes in treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. He listens to the patient on what line of thinking one has, and goes from there. He is honest and trustworthy, clear with expectations from the beginning, compassionate, and very conservative when it comes to prescribing medication. I have seen him for many years on and off, and he is honestly the ONLY Psychiatrist I trust!

I agree that Dr. Annis sincerely cares about his patients. He is honest, direct, and no-nonsense in his approach--which I really appreciate. In addition to or non-wistanding that fact that he is a caring doctor/human being, he is BRILLIANT and very quick to understand a given situation. You don't have to sit there and go into lengthy explanations or circle 'round and 'round to make a connection (which has been my experience with other psychiatrists.) I believe you need both the heart and the brains to be a great psychiatrist--and he certainly has both.

I was a patient of Dr. Frank Annis. This was during my late teens. My parents were told he was the perfect psychiatrist for me. Dr. Annis treated me by giving me drugs that were supposed to improve my condition. But they did nothing except make me very ill and even more despondent than I was when I started theraphy. Eventually I deteriorated and developed other symptoms that I did not have before seeing Dr. Annis. When I went to college I began seeing another psychiatrist as well as seening the mental health clinic at my university. It took me 6 years to repair the damage which of his treatment.

He can hear underneath what I am saying. He respects me. I leave empowered.

This is the first Psychiatrist that has impressed me with his honesty, sincerity, knowledge and compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Annis, as he listens and hears what you are saying, and he is both; knowledgeable and careful in prescribing medication.

Dr. Annis is helpful and sincere in his efforts to help and care about people. I have seen him for about a year.
