List of Hardeep Ahluwalia's Reviews
I never been Dr. Ahluwalia office. This is my first time try to see him. I saw this on Daily Post Newspaper.
I had leaking veins and chose this doctor due to several good online reviews. My experience was not so good. When utilizing the catheter to heat up and close the vein, he seriously burned the inside of my leg causing a chronic wound that I am still in the process of healing one year later. After several months of "let's wait a couple of months and see" I asked to be referred to a wound care center due to the pain. He wanted to send me one he was affiliated with in San Jose, but I told him I'd rather be referred to Stanford (closer and I trusted them more to correct the problem). He wrote the referral and washed his hands of me from that second on. I've been getting good treatment from Stanford. Wish I'd gone to them to begin with.
I have been with Dr, Ahlawalia since 2013. Suffering from an Industrial accident in 1985, I could not get proper treatment for my leg injuries. Years later Dr, Ahlawalia was recommended to me by my Cardiologist. I would definitely recommend Dr. Ahlawalia to everyone I come in contact with who has suffered the same problem I have suffered with for over 30 years. Dr. explains all procedures he recommends and you have the option to accept or refuse. It is always your call.
I went to him having problems with severe pain in my left leg. He said that I would need angio with stents and recommended I get both legs done. So I thought ok no problem. When I complained that it seemed worse after he performed the procedure. His response was that he could try again but I just probably would need the leg amputated. Well he did the angio twice more with no desirable results after which he just left me hanging with no more response. He has refused to release my records also.
I received extremely poor work from this person. He supposedly closed the vein in my lower leg, but In going to another Doctor now who specializes in this area, I discovered that the GS vein was not even closed, And the procedure should have been done on the thigh- the upper leg -Not the lower leg. I would never recommend this person to anyone. He took my money but botched the job. He also was unreliable in explaining to me the consequences of his work. Stay away! Not trustworthy Zero stars.
My experience with this doctor was not favorable for my health condition. Trust and faith in the people assisting in your care is important to me, not just how they present themselves, which can be deceiving. I hope others follow their gut before seeing Dr Al. The ultrasound was a joke
He is kind, communicative, caring and knowledgeable. I can only say positive things about him and his office staff. Unexpected exceptional care.
Easy to speak to. Very clear and understandable explanations for everything. I saw another doctor in the area and would recommend speaking with Dr. Ahluwalia before any vascular/vein procedure! His office is great too!
I saw the newspaper articles on him and then went online to do some searching before I went to see him for my appointment. He was trained at one of the most prestigious training programs in the country and then went on to do even more training focusing on minimally invasive endovascular surgery. He did my procedure with tiny poke holes in my groins. He is an amazing doctor and he is truly down to earth. He made me and my family completely comfortable. I would recommend him to anyone! Before you have an operation by someone you should see him first or at least for a second opinion!
He was clearly late in his day and rushed over from the operating room to see me. He made me feel as if I was the most important person in his entire day; and he truly feels that way about every patient. He spent so much time with me even while the operating room ( El Camino Hospital) was calling him to start his next case. He is truly exceptional all around.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
