List of Julie Chen's Reviews
My first impression about Dr. Chen is a nice and friendly doctor. But, the way she deals with my child’s jaundice issue is breaking my trust. When we noticed high bilirubin level of the newborn, Dr. Chen suggested us to keep going for blood tests in a nearby hospital asap almost everyday, in which the test shared space with COVID-19 test. I am concerned about the necessity and urgency of doing these test, as well as the risk of the test (cause the pandemic). After all, typically Asian babies get about 30% higher reading of bilirubin level then white babies, and there is about 50% newborns get high bilirubin level during the first two weeks, thus bilirubin should not be the only index we decide the risk of jaundice. My child is doing all right in everything else, so the jaundice risk is pretty low. I understand Dr. Chen is performing standard procedure for the tests, but what I don’t understand is why she asked us to perform blood tests in such a hurry, in a risky place, and in such high frequency. Since these concerns are never answered directly, I can barely see trust between us and had to go. I wish we had less misunderstanding from the first place.Well, it seems negative review got disappeared magically. If someone read this, please check out my experience. Thanks.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
