Dr. Cochran cares and is effective. Other comment mentions billing which is always a pain, but doesn't mention his abilities. If you need help, I'd highly consider him.

After having a very negative experience with a doctor who used to be part of this group, I was very lucky to have found Dr. Cochran. I have never had a doctor who spent so much time diagnosing and explaining things to me. He is extremely thorough, and is so truly concerned with helping his patients. He even called me at 6:30 at night with something that could have easily waited until the next day. I am so impressed with him, and only wish there were more doctors like him. I don't usually write reviews, but I appreciate having found him immensely!

Dr Cochran is a Super-Star re Pt. care. His Physician Colleagues function at a much lower level with little interest in the individual patient.

I won't comment on Dr. Cochran's talent in the field because it was my son who saw him as a patient. However, I have been trying for the last four months to obtain receipts from Dr. Cochran for those 4 visits in August and September, and here it is late November and I am still waiting for them. Dr. Cochran has not responded to a single e-mail that I've sent over these last months, and when I phone, if he bothers to pick up, he tells me he's on it, and I'm left waiting, receiving nothing. I can't submit any claims for those office visits to my insurance provider until I receive receipts, and I only have a six month window to do so, otherwise I'm not entitled to any benefits. I paid Dr. Cochran in full, on day of service, so even though I never kept him waiting for his money, he can't do me the courtesy of providing me with timely receipts. He also owes me $100 for an overpayment, which he agrees that he owes me, but just can't get around to actually paying me back. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone, regardless of his professional training because if you can't run the business end of your practice with some level of integrity, there are other talented people in the field who can.

Dr. J. Michael Cochran M.D. PhD in my estimation is one of the nation's most competent neurologists. He is a diagnostic physican that has exceptional training allowing him to get to the root of a problem far sooner than most neurologists. I have known many physicians over the past forty years and on a scale of one to ten with ten being the best I can only rate Dr. Cochran a 10. I highly recommend him to any potential future patients.
