While I have had no issues with Dr. Anhalt in the past, I cannot say the same about his staff. For my last visit, I was there for my appointment and did not have a mask upon which I requested one and was told they do NOT have any and the only option for me is to reschedule. For starters, as a medical institution, this could be furthest from the truth but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I said I would go purchase one and return and was told by then your appointment will be gone and you need to reschedule. I informed, in that case I will call and reschedule and a week later, I get a No Show $75 dollar bill. I found myself another doctor. Would not recommend.

Our visit to his office has been a dumpster fire. The office failed to send a prescription to the pharmacy. Called them > 50 times over the course of a week, and got a terse reply from the receptionist to leave a message, even though I left about 10 of them. All communications have a 1 in 50 or 100 chance of being replied to. Moved dermatologists, and have not been able to get them to transfer records to the new office (or to get them to take the call to cancel the appointment).

A very abrasive, rude and fairly incompetent doctor. If you want to be treated with a high medical standard and be treated with respect please avoid. There are much more capable and polite doctors in the Los Altos area.

Awful experience. He is rude, patronising and technically incompetent. The simple operation I had got infected and when I went for a follow up he was extremely rude. A lot of other options in the area so skip him if you want to be treated with respect.

Horrible experience with the office - not worth the mental torture & humiliation you get there! Our appointment was not acknowledged, and the receptionist (Jenell) very rudely shooed us away. We drove for roughly 1 hour for our appointment we booked through ZocDoc, which she said didn't exist, although we had confirmation for the same. Prior to appointment, we called more than 10 times over last week for some details, which were never received nor replied. She mentioned that the phone was not working, which was a blatant lie, as the phone rang when we called right in front of her. Never met such a horrible, rude, and condescending person ever in life as Jenell. She couldn't have been any more inhuman, the way she behaved with us. For sure, she feels that she has an upper hand, but that gives her absolutely no rights to treat patient & their families as such.

I wish to put 0 stars. The worst service ever. The rudest personal. I had some emergency and wasn t able to come. But they sent me check for 75$ I never wasn t informed before about that. It s more expensive then actual doctor visit. After reading other feedbacks I really regret I didn t do it before booking my appointment. When had conversation with his front desk the girl was super rude. You feel like own them something. Not recommend them at all. Please find another doctor s save your money and mental health

Charged twice for a no show appointment. This doctors just not appreciate patients anymore and he’s all about money. The pandemic must have been really tough for his business that he prefers $140 more than people. Very disappointed! I don’t recommend him!

Called for a refill of a med I've been on for years. Went to the pharmacy to pick it up and What??? How many hundreds of dollars? Called the office to see if I could change to the generic (about 20% of the cost of the brand name) and the office manager, Alicia, over heard the conversation and stepped in to e-mail me a coupon for the brand name medication, let me know the pharmacy might try to weasel out of honoring the coupon, and to call her back if I couldn't get them to honor the coupon and we would figure something out. The coupon worked like a charm! Got the med for 25% of the list price! Thanks Dr. Anhalt! Thanks Alicia!

If I could zero stars I would. Condescending in a way no doctor has ever been. Announced that he wanted me to apologize to his staff in front of his other patients when they were incredibly rude to ME for being 14 minutes late due to traffic. I ve never been treated this way by a doctor. Additionally, recommends medication when you specifically say you do not want to use steroids. Huffy when you refuse the medication repeatedly. Seriously acts like a bratty child. I m sure he will drop me as a patient when he reads this - will be in his character. Find someone else.
