Vanessa Ortiz's Online Review Report Card

I had an appointment with her in April but she said she can't meet me in person so we talked through the phone and they still charged lots of money talking just 5 minutes (really general questions). She told me she needs an MRI result and she needs to assess me in person. I rescheduled it in June. No one reminded me to bring an MRI and I didn't know that it is the most important thing to see a doctor in person. I totally forgot and the nurse practitioner said I can't meet the doctor today because there was no MRI result. Are you kidding me?? I drove there and I couldn't see the doctor because I didn't bring it? I could show the result from my phone. The nurse practitioner assessed me, not the doctor. And the nurse practitioner said the next availability is Aug 15th like 7 weeks later because I didn't bring the MRI result. I can't believe it. Doctor can't assess me because I didn't bring the MRI result and I still need to pay a lot and need to wait 7 weeks. I've never had this experience that doctor refused to meet the patient. I can't believe it.

Dr. Ortiz was very complete in her evaluation of my back problem, questioning and examining me and reviewing reports I provided. She explained her initial diagnosis and went over an Electrodiagnostic Study (health of my nerves and muscles) she wanted to perform. She also suggested a Lumbar Medial Branch Block to be done by her associate Dr. John Welsh. I was very pleased with information she provided, allowing for all my questions about the procedures. After my appointment, I felt comfortable and confident about scheduling the procedures Dr. Ortiz had recommended. I would also note she is an excellent listener.

Great doctor for electrodiagnostics.

I have been to a variety of physicians in an attempt to resolve my lower back pain. I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Ortiz! She actually listened to me and was very empathetic! (Many of the doctors I have seen were very abrupt and condescending.) She was very thorough. Her diagnosis and treatment plan were excellent. I am feeling better now than I have in years. I am so grateful to Dr. Ortiz. The Front Desk is excellent, also!

Dr. Ortiz is an excellent physician!  I can make that judgement, since I have been to many doctors over the years for my lower back pain. Many of them have been very abrupt and condescending--and not very effective.  Dr. Ortiz actually listens!  She is very compassionate and very thorough.  Her diagnosis and treatment plan have been nothing short of miraculous for me.  I am very grateful.

Dr Ortiz is prompt . Shes knowlegable. She listens and she gives you options !

Dr.ortiz is the most compassionate dr I have ever met.she listens to you,how rare is that. She diagnoses your problem with much thought. Explains her treatment in a way you understand. I feel very confident in her medical decisions.

Dr. Vanessa Ortiz is a compassionate doctor who has helped me with chronic back pain. She has gone past the norm to make sure that I am being personally assisted.

She's a very abrupt dr and her office is run very poorly. Don't go here.

Dr. Ortiz is awesome, professional, compassionate and a wonderful provider. I have been her patient for a couple of years and she has been so helpful. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and address's any questions I may have. I would recommend her to anyone I know looking for assistance with pain management and treatment options.
