2 hours and 10 minutes for a BASIC eye test - with an appointment!

Doctor was nice enough. Front office staff were incredibly rude. from the looks of the reviews this is an incredibly common experience. Apparently 4 pm day before my appt. Someone called and told me that the doctor had to leave early, so that I'd have to reschedule. I get lots of spam calls so I missed it. Came in and was told that it's my responsibility to answer my phone. I said, is there any way you can contact me by other means like text or email( like people who live in this century contact people). Again was very rudely shut down. There are lots of places in LA to get your eyes checked. Why deal with this? Coupled with the extremely cramped waiting room and dicey parking? They just texted to remind me I have my yearly checkup. Not with y'all I don't lolllll

Love Dr. Melody Kim. She is amazing! I went in for an eye exam and she explained what her recommendations were in specific details. She made sure I was comfortable with my eye glasses and asked me many questions before finalizing my prescription. The front desk lady & the nurse were also really sweet. Not sure why this place is badly rated.

I went here for an appointment as a new patient so front desk took my ID and drivers license to copy and forgot to give it back and I forgot to pick them up. After few days, while at bank , I noted I didn't have my drivers license with me. you'd think someone From the office would call to let me know but no. I had to make three phone calls through their call center to get someone to call me back which again didn't happen. So I had to drive 25 minutes to their office and get attitude by the front desk because I didn't have a mask on to get my cards. NEVER GO THERE!!

The absolute worst!  I ordered glasses on December 2, 2021 and am still waiting (it's March 28, 2022 today) .  I just called to ask about my order.  Erin the woman who answered the phone didn't seem to think that having a client wait almost four months for glasses was a big deal.  The people who answer the phones lie to clients.  I was told by Lorraine that the office is open on Saturdays -- not true because before looking at the website I had called on Saturday March 26 at 11am.  The voice recording said the office was closed.  According to it's website, the location is open M-F 8-4:30 and closed for an hour for lunch.    If you ask to speak with a manager you are told that s/he will call you back; it seems that they don't have a manager on the premises who can address customer service concerns.  It seems that the people  who work at this location do not really want to work in a professional business.  The doctors are alright, but the rest of the staff....I'm holding my tongue.  One last thing, if you need glasses, don't go on Mondays because the optical department is closed.  In other words if you make an appointment for an eye exam on a Monday, know that you will either have to come back another day to order glasses or -- better yet -- order them some place else.  You'll likely get better service and won't have to wait months and months!  If  you are looking at other reviewers comments please note that the doctors are praised, but the office staff....awful, absolutely awful.  Heed the other 1 star warnings!!!

Unfortunately my daughter has glaucoma. We have been seeing Dr. Brian Chen for approximately 4 years. He is awesome, very compassionate and I feel confident that he is doing everything possible for my daughter.

Worst service - I just transferred my account to a different location in hopes that I can actually get a prescription! I went in over 5 weeks ago to get my contact lens prescription, was told they will order new lenses to try and it takes a week. 5.5 weeks, 6 phone calls and 1 in-person visit later and I have yet to speak to anybody who can help me and there is no sign that anything was ordered. When you call the main line, you speak to really nice folks who try hard to help, but they themselves don't seem to be able to get through to the Lincoln Heights staff. A few times the reason for no response was because the optician was not in, and for some reason other staff are unable to see my account. It was all very frustrating and I'm still without a prescription!

I had a very positive experience on my appointment. The staff was very friendly and supportive.  Above and beyond efficient, from reception to meeting the actual doctor promptly. I was used to waiting for hours for my last doctor. Very professional and knowledgeable staff. Thank you again.

Amazong staff! I was helped by Yannick and Betty and they where both so helpful and knowledgeable. It is nice to go to a clinic with good customer service. I recommend 10/10!
