5 STARS is not enough for Dr. Shapiro.It should be 55!Dr. Shapiro is the best urologist I ever seen.He is an example of knowledge, expertise and excellent care.

Dr. Shapiro is a ray of light in the healthcare system. It's rare to come across a doctor with his incredible knowledge and warm bedside manner. When you belong to an HMO it's hard to find a doctor of his quality, and typically you're treated like a head count with a calculated cost, but Dr. Shapiro has a way of making you feel genuinely comfortable and cared for. After months of being misdiagnosed I finally got a chance to meet with him, and I'm beyond thankful for the visit. His diagnosis was correct, and his treatment strategy was spot-on. He's as good as it gets.

The doctor was one hour late, by the time the doctor attended us, it had been two hours. The Dr Alan rushed the appointment. The Dr Alan lack attention to the patients pain problems. Needs to spend more time with patient and explain patient's medical condition. Did not answer my questions.

Very nice, professional and a great doctor who put me at ease just by being himself. I wish I lived in the area because he would definitely be my Dr. Thank you to everyone involved. It was a terrible thing to go through but he and the staff at Huntington park hospital did the best possible job.

Dr. Shapiro came to see me in the ER @ Cedars on a Sunday afternoon. I cannot tell you how special his medical and personal care felt to me. I am a nurse at Cedars, and I work there for one reason: world class physicians. Dr. Shapiro is ABOVE world class. He makes you feel like family. THANK YOU doctor!

Dr Shapiro is amazing! We were so lucky to have found him! He is kind, competent and easy to talk to. After finding a lump, we got tests taken care of the same day, we got results a couple days later and scheduled for surgery right after that. Dr. Shapiro was positive, reassuring and comprehensive. He talked to us about all aspects of the procedure and helped guide us in our future interactions with the oncologist. It felt like he was family and that he really cared about us. Dr. Shapiro was the best thing that could have happened to us in the situation we were in! We often look back and are so thankful that we found Dr. Shapiro!! We will be forever grateful.
