I’ve been a loyal Alchemy client for years and have spent thousands on treatments. If this review were based solely on my past experiences — especially with my former provider, Lena — I would have nothing but glowing things to say. Lena was not only incredibly skilled but also compassionate and medically knowledgeable. When I once had a reaction to numbing cream, she knew exactly how to handle it and made me feel safe and cared for. Her departure is a real loss. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the 3rd Street location left me feeling shocked, disrespected, and deeply uncomfortable. I called on July 2nd at 1:43 PM to book an appointment and requested to be seen by a PA or NP. This wasn’t a casual preference — I have lupus and have experienced serious, life-threatening complications in the past. For that reason, I prefer to be treated by the provider with the highest level of medical training available. The woman who answered the phone — who identified herself as the manager — was immediately rude, cold, and dismissive. She falsely claimed that no PAs or NPs work at that location, even though they’re clearly listed in the online booking system. I calmly explained my autoimmune condition and why I had this request, but she repeatedly interrupted me, insisted all injectors had the same training, and made no effort to listen or empathize. When I said I’d call another location instead, she emphasized that “everyone reports to her,” as if I was challenging her authority just by advocating for my health. There was absolutely no reason for the aggression or condescension I was met with. Because I have a prepaid membership, I’m unfortunately still obligated to return in order to use what I’ve already paid for — but I no longer feel good about doing so. It’s incredibly disheartening to return to a place where my legitimate medical concerns and condition were not only dismissed, but treated as inconvenient or unreasonable. Once I’ve used my prepaid amount, I will not be renewing, and I won’t be coming back. If you have a complex medical condition that could potentially interact with cosmetic treatments, I strongly encourage you to consider whether this is the right environment for you — particularly if you expect professionalism, flexibility, and basic empathy from the staff. Update: While I did receive a refund for the remaining balance in my membership, I was disappointed by how the situation was ultimately handled. After being a loyal customer for years, I expected at least a phone call or some attempt to make things right—not just a transactional email. No one acknowledged the seriousness of my health concerns or addressed how the manager’s dismissive behavior contributed to my decision to leave. The response felt impersonal and dismissive, echoing the very issues that led me to speak up in the first place. They didn’t ask what kind of resolution I was seeking, nor did they account for the facial peel I was entitled to as part of my membership. Sadly, I was left feeling discarded rather than valued, which has been deeply disappointing after years of trusting this business and spending thousands there. This tells me this business places profits over people. They have no loyalty, even to longtime clients, and don’t care about providing top- tier medically sound service. If a client voices grievances, they don’t try to address them; they just kick you off your membership, making you feel like you’re the problem. Their feigned empathy while at the same time implying to me that they didn’t want my business anymore. All of this for requesting the provider with the most medical training? I want to reiterate the inanity of this situation. When I initially called, all I asked was to be booked with a physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner. That’s all! She could’ve just done what I requested, and none of this escalation would’ve occurred. Instead she decided to serve attitude for no reason.

I’ve been a member of Alchemy 43 for a few years now and am a big fan, the work is always excellent, subtle, and the staff is kind and knowledgeable. They consistently introduce new member perks and deals that make most of the procedures very affordable compared to other practices in the area.

First time at A43 and I saw Sandrine who was fantastic. They were able to work with me and lower the amount of Botox units based on what I was looking for, and when I felt a wave of anxiety come on they brought me some Gatorade and an ice pack to calm me down.

I've been to this location multiple times and have always had a wonderful experience. I've had great results from the various injectors I've gone to. Amber at the front desk has always been so welcoming. She goes over pricing with me in a way that never makes me feel pressured. I recommend this place to all my friends and family!
