Came in, unfortunately I ran 16 mins late. The front office personnel Joann was very kind, & helpful. Dr. Yoo was able to see me! Great service! Thanks for being soo helpful & understanding! This makes all the difference in the world!
9/3 Update: In one day, I spent from 8:00 a.m. SHARP to 12:29 pm without pausing calling my insurance plan and government offices to resolve the coronavirus test bill . The Mayor said "free" on TV so AltaMed tried to put everybody in Medi-Cal when I am above the income limits and I told them in Aug. 2020 but they never honored it. I AM INSURED, NOT UNINSURED. Tested in 5/2020. My vaccines from Feb. & March 2021 have not been billed and earlier AltaMed said they were submitting all claims together, probably Medi-Cal again. It is good that Mayor Garcetti is going to India, and I wish he could carry Newsom with him. So many programs have been rolled out, but implementing them has been a disaster for recipients (including patients). I come unglued when SURPRISINGLY hit with too many mistakes and having to make too many calls (37 CALLS IN 4 DAYS TO THE DHCS AND ALTAMED REPEATEDLY TRANSFERRED with long wait times. For the last five (5) years I have been fighting incompetent people making costly mistakes taking up too much of my time. I now understand why some people who refused the vaccine say they do not trust the government. The last straw for me was getting a letter from Department of Health Care Services (MCED) re HEARING RIGHTS FOR Medi-Cal and what to do for denied claims. I cannot believe AltaMed would try to put me in Medi-Cal when I have insurance that pays 100% for COVID-19 testing and vaccines, and I am not eligible for Medi-Cal. In May 2020 when I got the test I received a letter FROM ALTAMED IN AUGUST saying I was automatically enrolled in Medi-Cal. I phoned and opted out. Then they submitted it to my insurance saying I was a new patient with a face-to-face OFFICE visit with no mention of the COVID test (according to my insurance rep) and they were paid a large amount over $200 with a co-pay of $57 waived. I was not a new patient and merely went to a drive-thru location for a CORONAVIRUS test, and it was not an 'office visit'. I got there following directions from Garcetti to find locations on a list and only a street address for a drive-thru. I had no idea where I was going until I got there and saw a large van ON DIRT with AltaMed.In June after the test I had gone to another provider and was in fact a new patient, a legitimate claim that was billed, also paid over $200. AltaMed billed five (5) months later in October claiming I was a new patient once I notified them that I was not to be in Medi-Cal. Two weeks ago AFTER I PHONED ALTAMED they saw their erroneous billing and they were to correct it, but I have no idea why I got this new letter. My insurance acted accordingly . My insurance said ALTAMED needs to re-submit the claim with the correct info RE COVID to be paid at 100%, BUT ALTAMED DECIDED NOT TO RE-SUBMIT THE CLAIM . I am not uninsured. I had phoned to ask why my vaccines have not been billed. Why don't these people know that Medi-Cal has income limits as they told me weeks ago they were submitting everyone in a bundle for the vaccines. They took a photo of my insurance when I went for the test last year and they also had it when I received a text that I was eligible to get the vaccines. Insured, not on Medi-Cal. I track all medical costs in Excel. I scan all claims and letters, encrypted with passwords (not to the cloud). They are not dealing with an uneducated person who does not speak English. I resent having to communicate via email, not encrypted and I insisted they respect my rights. I use encrypted sites with passwords, end-to-end. FQHCs have made my life a nightmare. I understand the shortage of professionals in Medicine and a need to hire interns (students, residents, volunteers), but I have two Project Sheets of mistakes made by too many. Wrong referrals sent to wrong departments for wrong procedures; billed just for showing up at wrong places; 13 months to resolve a hospital billing error when an invalid CPT code used that was obsolete since 2010 (with their billing contractor) with no service received, and a list going on and on. The worse was not being able to get my 13 years of medical records which someone did not know about the law on records retention. I was reduced to name and DOB in a new electronic record. It seems as though everything at the federal, state, county and city levels have turned into a fiasco requiring too many calls because incompetent people are making decisions and mistakes. I unknowingly went to AltaMed after spending 18 hours per day on the computer trying to get appointments with CVS or Walgreens and weeks later saw neither was giving the test yet, but the websites said updates for appointments were done every hour. So I sat and waited getting up at 5:00 a.m. hoping to get a slot, and used different zip codes for appointments only to learn they were not making appointments. The AltaMed site where I went for the vaccine was EXCELLENT. Billing and too many calls and assumptions are unacceptable. Cutting ties.
Been here 3 times so far. Love this office and these people. Doctors, nurses, reception and security, love em all. Grateful for affordable care as well.

This review is for the dental officeFront desk staff is always nice and helpfulFive star reviews goes to Raquel the dentist assistant Ive gotten her every time Ive gone and she goes above and beyond to help you with whatever you need.
Literally waited for an appt dr Flores was so lazy and didn’t even perform my daughter cleaning. They did do exam of course so they can bill.Total waste of time
Great place for Medical and Dental.
Never had an issue up until yesterday. Took my 8yr old for a fever the doctor prescribed Ibuprofen. When I went to the pharmacy to pick up the medicine the pharmacist noticed that the dose was too high for an eightyearold she continued to question me about my child’s age and weight. Long story short when the medical assistant took my child’s Weight She wrote down 126 pounds when my child weights around 65 pounds. That’s a huge mistake
Forget about getting referred to a specialist. They wont do their job.
Today I came to get TB testing and at first the lady at the front desk wasn’t sure if I’d be seen because of how busy they were but I still waited. After 30 minutes I was seen and the doctor was very informative and caring. This was a good and fast experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
