Without a question one of my top choices for higher level of care options in Los Angeles and undoubtedly my #1 choice for the particularly ill patients in my practice who need comprehensive support for their mental health. Dr. Scott Fears is one of the most experienced and talented psychiatrists that I have met during my tenure in Los Angeles psychiatry. Truly an experts expert. And truly one who cares about his patients and his craft. Very grateful to have Amae local here in West LA.

I can literally say AMAE has not only been life changing but life saving. My loved one needed intense mental health guidance and support that I felt could be better served by the more personal, intimate environment offered at AMAE than offered through other programs. The staff is extremely and genuinely caring, educated, and hands on. I am grateful to AMAE for making such a challenging time easier to overcome. Being new to these challenges I needed some hand holding and guidance myself and they were there to help at every turn. I could never overstate my appreciation or how thankful I am for all they have done for us.

I am grateful to Amae Health for the transformation I've witnessed over the past year. With Dr. Scott Fears' guidance, our son has found ways to live with and even to overcome many of the challenges he's been facing. He values the insights Dr. Fears brings to their conversations. Our son has committed to the medication regiment and the recommendations he's received--from dietary adjustments to engaging in community activities, social interactions, and physical fitness. The Amae caregiver meetings, especially the family support sessions led by Dr. Gary Tsai, have amplified our empathy for others in similar situations and has fostered hope. We thank the clinic for their care and for making such a positive impact on our lives.
