I received services from this provider prior to the pandemic and through tele-health during the pandemic. I found the support staff in the office to be a diverse group of individuals who were courteous and professional. The person who was assigned to my case was of a different ethnicity and gender. When I tried to express my concerns about racially based trauma that I experienced as a black woman, the feedback was dismissive and unhelpful. When I expressed my concerns about parenting adults with disabilities, the feedback was dismissive. If you are a black person who has experienced racially based trauma, I do not recommend this provider. As a disability rights advocate, I recommend that this provider expand their team to include a black psychologist to provide a better health outcome for their clientele. It would also be beneficial for their team to learn how social security disability benefits work.There are two important procedural components to note. First, they ask for a credit card to back up your insurance, if you miss an appointment. Second, there is a wait list for appointments.
