The absolute most incompetent staff ever. It was months of phone calls between Dr. Stern's office, LA Care and my insurance group to get me Type 1 Diabetic assistance. I was out of pocket for most of my own healthcare during that time. I NEVER SAW DR. STERN ONCE! Apparently some other male doctor is working with Dr. Stern's MediCAL patients at his Tarzana office while he works in West Hollywood. A woman named Marina, one of his assistants at Valley Vita Medical Center in Tarzana, yelled at me aggressively to stop me from seeking care and holding them responsible for lying about a broken fax machine. I have a new doctor now and I'm grateful I didn't die when I got Covid in December because Dr. Stern's office never got back to me. The worst. Avoid if you value your health.

I saw him for a weight loss consult (HCG) which is tough to adhere to but works great. He could have just given me the prescription and sent me out the door, but no, he did a detailed eval, med history, weighed, measured - all of the above and a kind of psych check in (I'm a healthy bmi but very short, and this semi-fast one month a year keeps me lean). Good practitioners are hard to find and this one is a keeper.

Possibly the best physician in Los Angeles! After 41 years practicing medicine, Dr. Stern has many satisfied patients. He is what the practice of medicine should be, a one on one focus on the patient.A fancy office with all the state of the art image decorator looks, does not make the doctor.Dr. Stern is kind, compassionate, along with the highest integrity and wealth of knowledge.He does not need a flash office to impress people, his character and competency are what shines through.

It was the worst experience i have ever had to go through dealing with such careless and unprofessional Medical Doctor. Dr. Stern chose the wrong career with his type of attitude and negligence towards his patient's symptoms.
