List of Asif Rafi Md's Reviews
Expensive. Was charged for services not rendered. Staff is slow to respond to calls and emails if at all. Was misdiagnosed. PA Sharon not knowledgeable AT ALL. Details. After being misdiagnosed twice, by Rafi and another doctor, I finally found out I have fibromyalgia. The two of them wasted 1 1/2 years of my life all the while dealing with chronic pain.Rafi diagnosed me with chronic variable immune deficiency disorder. I had to have an intravenous line put in my arm and receive medication I did not need. When I found a new immunologist who reviewed my records from both before I saw him and after and retesting me doctor confirmed I never had it.The other immunologist diagnosed me with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. That's another story for another time.I was charged for visits and services that I never received. I sent a detailed spreadsheet with dates, medical codes asking for explanations which to this day I have never received.During my telemed visits with Sharon I could always tell she was not prepared for our call even though I always sent detailed notes and questions prior to our conversation.99% of the information and assistance I received was from the pharmacy who provided my supplies and nursing services. The pharmacy was also the one who gave me my diagnosis because the doctor never told me. I was quite shocked when I received the call from the pharmacy to begin services when I had no idea what was going on. Of course he insisted that they told me and I must have misunderstood.I heard that quite often when I questioned them about many things. As if all of this isn't bad enough, when I would have telemed visit with them and question them about answers, I was always made to feel as if I were the one who didn't know what was going on.While I can't say for sure, I believe that if I had not been misdiagnosed by two doctors my fibromyalgia may not have become as bad as it is.My experience with this office and their staff has been a nightmare which I continue to live with to this day.If you decide to seek services from this person, tread lightly, take lots of notes and always ask for detailed progress notes for each and every encounter.
Compassionate and EXTREMELY knowledgeable about a wide-range of allergy and asthma-related issues. Knows how to make the insurance system work and really cares for his patients. So glad I found him.
Can't say enough great things about Dr. Rafi. I went there three years ago with a sneaking suspicion I had some food allergies. He helped me manage it really holistically and made himself easily available when I needed him. You will be happy you saw him!
Dr. Rafi is the BEST. I had chronic asthma/allergies for years. He took the time to figure out exactly what I was allergic to and how we could control the symptoms. Under his care, I live a totally normal life. No wheezing. No sneezing. And no more sinus infections and endless colds. Truly, the quality of my life is so much better now. Unfortunately, my son inherited my allergies and when he was first diagnosed by his pediatrician, they advised us to just "nebulize him." Instead, I took him to Dr. Rafi and he's allergy and drug free. No sneezing or wheezing for him wither! It's rare to find a Dr. and practice that really, truly and deeply care about your total health - Dr. Rafi and his team are that rare find.
Dr. Rafi is the most knowledgeable and caring allergist who has ever treated me. I have been seeing him for over a decade, and my allergies are totally in check. I have referred approximately 20 family members and friends to Dr. Rafi, which gives him my highest recommendation as he is a highly-trusted and valued doctor.
I remember, as a lad in England, the local doctor. He would spend time explaining what was going on, what one probably had to look forward to when sick and how he was going to treat any malady one might be afflicted with. Ah, distant memories. Until recently. I contracted the dreaded COVID about 3 weeks ago. Oh shit. Fortunately I was put in touch with Dr. Rafi. Amazing. He spent an hour on the phone with me and completely allayed any fears. He prescribed medications to fight the symptoms and took time to explain to me what was going on. 24 hours later, symptom free, leaving my body free to give the COVID a bloody good whuppin' Thanks doc. Amazing.
Outstanding doctor, if not the best. He really cares about his patients and absolutely loves medicine, all aspects of it. The science, nature, people, health, society, humanity...all of it.
Dr Rafi is hands down one of if not the bast doctor I've been to. I will be sending all my friends and family to him asap....if you're having any issues that could remotely be related to allergies don't waste your time going anywhere else.
Found Dr. Rafi through Yelp, needed a close place ASAP for an allergic reaction to god knows what. They got me in within 2 hours. Dr. Rafi and the entire staff were so kind and gentle. Dr. Rafi basically said, had I seen an allergist when I was a kid, I wouldn't have all the ailments I do now. He's encouraged through testing that my issues will go away. He's ordered the most complete bloodwork I've ever seen and I go back for skin tests after that. I'm very happy with Dr. Rafi, his staff, and his thorough methods. I highly recommend!!
Dr Rafi took time out of his schedule to explain in detail the reasons for my allergies. I sought Dr Rafi's advice after seeing an old school allergist who uses out of date methodologies and was brought up to speed with the correct treatments. Thank you Dr Rafi!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
