Dr. Pirouz has been my Primary Doctor for 8 years, and has always taken the time to listen and ask questions so as to refer me to specialists as needed. I have referred friends of mine over the years and they also have reported a good working relationship with him. This is the kind of doctor we are all looking for, one who cares, is patient and seems genuinely interested in his patients.

The entire staff is rude no bedside manners do not know how to speak to the patients correctly been calling the office for 15 minutes and they have been ignoring my calls but it's okay I definitely will report the doctor and his entire staff

The doctor is good and patient. He explained everything to me and my misunderstanding was cleared up. I wanna apologize to Jessiaca and her colleague for my being angry.

I left several messages with the nurse for him to call me regarding my dad’s diagnosis and he never did. I was also never updated on a treatment plan, etc. Horrible follow-through.

Dr. Pirouz was taking care of me at Cedars Sinai. He didn't return pages to the nurses for hours so my care was delayed. His excuse was that he was working at other hospitals as well. He is nice enough, but has a very cold bestside manner. He didn't seem knowledgeable about my condition compared to other doctors I have seen before. He also forgot to order some of my home medications at admission and I went over 24 hours without them because he wouldn't return pages. On the weekend he has other doctors cover him who were even worse! He also forgot to order the antibiotics the infection doctor recommended at discharge and I had to wait 2 days until my primary care doctor could order them. Overall he just didn't provide the care or service I expect. I unfortunately have been sick and hospitalized many times and this was one of the worse experiences I have had at any hospital. He is inexperienced and just graduated from his speciality training (he's a nephrologist). I'm sure he will get better as he gains experience, but he is someone I strongly recommend you avoid until that time comes.
