Bahareh Golbahar's Online Review Report Card

Last Monday was my very first time visiting Village Eyes Optometry in Westwood and getting examined for the very first time by Dr Bahareh Golbahar.Dr Golbahar is extremely friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable, addressed all of my pressing concerns, and examined me thoroughly. I noticed a floater in my left eye, which she found to be due to a vitreous detachment rather than a retinal detachment. But just to be on the safe side, she referred me to a retinal specialist for a second opinion and also because she felt that a retinal specialist would be able to see 100% of my retina, whereas she felt she could at most see 90% of my retina with her tools.I really appreciated her extremely warm patient care approach and the fact that she really took the time to thoroughly examine me and address my most pressing questions and concerns :) ! I highly recommend her to all of my colleagues and friends :D !!My family doesn't live in West Los Angeles. Otherwise, I would certainly recommend her as well to my family members :) !!

Dr. Golbahar saw me and my daughter and provided and excellent thorough exam. She made my daughter feel so comfortable that there were no issues at all. With myself she explained every procedure and the result of the exam. The time she took was above and beyond any previous exam I have had in the past with other offices. Dr. Golbahar will now be our eye Dr going forward and I would recommend her with out any hesitation.

Dr. Golbahar is the best! She's patient, attentive, thorough and I can tell she's super smart. I went in for an annual check up and we determined I need to change my contact lens brand. She was very patient as we went through a few different ones. After the visit her staff helped me order new contacts and gave me a coupon to help pay for them. Cannot speak more highly of her. She is fantastic!

Hands down the best. Bahareh is extremely responsive and has a warm friendly yet professional demeanor that makes it a pleasure to visit, even for those apprehensive about any kind of doctors visits. She's quick to answer any questions without sugar coating or trying to sell you. Bahareh saved me last minute when I ran out of contacts and my optometrist was unavailable for 3-4 weeks and I was out of my prescription. She squeezed me in last minute, provided me with contacts asap and spent time making sure that I was happy. She truly cared. I will definitely be referring her to all my friends and family (those that don't already go to her!) And will be going back to her regularly. Thank you Bahareh!

I've been coming to see Dr. Golbahar for years and always a positive experience. She is very nice and pays a lot of attention to my needs my eyes and vision. She is clear with everything she tells me and helps me understand things that I might not know. Everyone who works in the office have always been so nice and attentive. I would highly recommend her to anyone! This location is so convenient for people who work in the area like me.

Bahareh is the most attentive doctor I've ever met. She is a perfectionist. So sweet and patient with all her patients. More than anything she saved my vision in my left eye. I went in for a regular eye exam. She found tears in my left retina and immediately sent me to the top eye surgeon in LA at UCLA. The surgeon said what Bahareh had found, he knows most optemetrists would have overlooked and never found. But because she is so meticulous she found it. Had she not, I would have gone blind in that eye and I was only 25 years old at the time. Thank you Bahareh for saving my vision!

Great optometrist! I've been going to Dr. Golbahar for several years and she has done a fantastic job of taking care of my eye health. Whether it be enhancing my prescription or fixing me with glasses, she's a warm and caring optometrist with fantastic skills.

I went to Dr. Golbahar to check my eyes and get contacts. She is so great. She was gentle and knowledgeable. I got my contacts within two days. The office is in the heart of Westwood and so close to everything. I don't know the other doctors in her office, but I can say you will not go wrong if you go to Dr. Golbahar!!!!!
