My daughter was at Barlow for 6 weeks after a horrific car accident and the staff was always warm, caring and extremely professional!I would definitely recommend for Respiratory and other medical issues. Thank you so much for your wonderful care.

The Barlow family on the 3rd flow were such an Amazing blessing that I encounter. I’m so grateful that God bless me to go there for my treatment because I had been looking for a place that helps with every part of your body. And they were the team. The doctors Dr. A ( Mr Turtleneck) to all the Nurses (Sam); CNA ( Maria; Edith; Jerica, Angelica, etc ) to Physical Therapy ( P; Niki; Juan; Joshua; Princess; Patrick and etc); Respiratory Therapy (Rey; DA, Lee; Roman; Armenian; &etc) and all of housekeeping and maintenance….. Thank God for the team of Social Workers (Jessica) and even the patient… I apologize if I miss the name of all those that assist me.. thanks to the RT & Nurses that also help me leave safely… To all of them on the 3rd floor that help bring back my laughter… THANK YOU!!!!I love them and I hope I get to see y’all again.. out and about… God Bless..

Even with staff shortages due to COVID, my father who had suffered from a stroke was well taken care of during his stay. The staff were very attentive. Thank you Barlow!

My son went to Barlow after being at UCLA Neuro ICU. He arrived at Barlow in a coma, with a tracheostomy, a feeding tube and many other medical issues. We were amazed at the wonderful care he received! The doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, pulmonologist, infectious disease doctor, psychiatrist, and many other professionals who took care of my son were amazing! During my son's stay, he woke from his coma, the trach was removed and the feeding tube was removed. He had improved so much during his stay at Barlow! Thank you to Erin Rosales, the case manager, for working so hard to help navigate my son's care during and after his stay! She is passionate about her job and it shows! Thank you to all the wonderful nurses, CNAs, the office staff, especially Natalie, who is always so sweet and kind. There are too many names to mention, but they are all so caring and compassionate and our family is so grateful for everything you all do! Barlow Respiratory Hospital on 2000 Stadium Way helped save our son's life and give him hope for a great future!

My dad will be arriving here soon from St John's hospital I hope this works out for him his name is Michael and he is a beautiful soul full of life and I want to keep fighting for my dad till the end I hope the staff understand I am always gonna be around I am very nice but I'm my dad's eyes n voice for nowHope this works out thank you for excepting my dad

It’s hard to put into words the support we received at Barlow Respiratory. When my dad was first transferred on full support of a ventilator, tracheostomy, and feeding tube… he was terrified to be there and although he had a rocky beginning, the nurses, the cnas, respiratory, and doctors turned his experience into something I can never thank them enough for… his anxiety was difficult to deal with but these nurses, CNAs, respiratory therapist went above and beyond to help him. They didn’t give up and for that we are grateful. All the support and extra time made a huge difference in my dads recovery. Barlow gave me piece of mind as well as the support that my family needed while my dad was a patient. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ I highly recommend this facility!

Do not be fooled by the 4 star rating. This place is awful. My brother spent three weeks at this facility and I can not wrap my head around the fact that we actually were recommended to go here. Barlow is extremely short staffed, under equipped, doctors are scarce, case manager was incompetent, and the care is decent at best. I have horror stories about this place but I won’t divulge because in my heart I want to believe that they are there to actually help people instead of just getting paid. Please take your loved ones elsewhere. Terrible experience at Barlow.

The doctors, nurses, RTs, social worker, case managers and all the staff are so kind, caring and compassionate! I’m so grateful for the care my son has received. There are so many staff persons to mention that I wouldn’t want to miss anyone. Thank you so much, Barlow, for having such a wonderful staff! You are all amazing!
