To say Dr. Perri changed the quality of my life is an understatement. As a result of a car accident, I had severe C5 and C6 disc impingement that caused extreme neck and shoulder pain with radiating nerve damage in my arms, making my hands go numb. After trying a few other treatments first that didn't help the issues, my Dr. felt it was time to refer me to his colleague Dr. Perri. From the initial consultation to answering all the follow up questions I had, Dr. Perri and his staff were patient and caring, so knowledgeable and eased my mind about having this type of surgery. The medical staff caring for me during and after my surgery were just fantastic. I can happily say that with some physical therapy and some lifestyle changes, I've had a very successful recovery. I had suffered from lower back pain, caused by Scoliosis and Stenosis, for many years but I was terrified of surgery. Over the past 10 years, I tried every form of alternative therapy including acupuncture, chiropractic, Pilates, physiotherapy, epidural injections and rhizotomies. While some of the therapies provided temporary relief, nothing really worked. By the time I contacted Dr.Perri, I was in constant pain and could walk with a cane less than a block before having to stop. It became obvious that I needed a surgical solution. I was referred to Dr.Perri and from the the moment I met with him, I felt I was in good hands. He is not only a knowledgeable and expertly skilled doctor but is a patient and kind person. After reviewing my tests with me, he suggested a surgical plan. No matter how many questions I had, he patiently answered them in person and through telemedicine visits. He quelled my fears and instilled confidence. I felt completely prepared and at ease going into surgery. I had Laminotomy and Foranotomy with Microdecompression surgery, 10 days ago and from the first day, there was an immediate reduction in my pain. The sciatic pain that radiated from my back, down my leg and into my calf is gone! And I'm already waking several blocks each day. I'm pleased and amazed. I had been suffering from lower back pain for many years but was terrified about having surgery. I was suffering from acute spinal stenosis and scoliosis. The sciatic pain in my glutes, down my leg and into my calf became so unbearable that I could only walk a block without having to sit down. On the recommendation of my orthopedic surgeon, I contacted Dr. Brian Perri. The moment I met him, I could tell that he was not only knowledgeable but also patient and kind. He reviewed my tests with me and discussed possible procedures to repair the pathology in my back. Even after meeting with him in person, I had many more questions and he kindly and patiently walked me through all of my concerns with telemedicine and personal meetings. We settled on a conservative approach to clean up the stenosis and decompress the affected nerves. I had surgery a week ago and I can already notice a big improvement. I am walking with little pain and the radiating sciatic pain is gone. Throughout the process, I felt valued and supported by Dr.Perri and his excellent staff. Thank you to Christin, Vanessa, Emily and Chaya who all helped make everything go right. I can't thank them enough for their patience and kindness. Dr. Perri is an excellent, highly skilled and caring doctor. I am so grateful to him for his patience and skill in reducing my pain and returning my mobility. An unexpected bonus was having my surgery at DOCS Orthopedic Hospital. What a wonderful hospital. It is a five star facility that feels more like a boutique hotel than a hospital. My nurses Sarah, Meri, Mary and Nikki, took such good care of me that I recovered quite quickly and was able to return home the day after surgery. I was given a through PT clearance and precise instructions upon departure. And it may seem strange to mention the food but it is cooked on site and is delicious. All in all, of you're in need of spinal surgery, Dr.Perri is the best.

Dr. Perri is not only following other procedures, he is inventing, a pioneer! He is a MUST see before allowing anyone to do back surgery. My husband, myself and a dear friend, had back surgery by Dr. Perri. We were all up walking around without a back brace on the same day. Best advice we ever received was giving him a call.

I can't say enough about Dr. Brian Perri....After years of debilitating lower back pain, I finally have my life back. Almost miraculously, I felt better almost immediately and two months later I am back to work. I was very skeptical at first as I had been let down by so many other surgeons, physical therapists, chiropractors, etc. Dr Perri and his staff (including the amazingly helpful Kristen, Chaya and so many others at the office and the hospital) were awesome with my plethora of questions and concerns...My only regret is that I didn't see them years ago.....

I honestly don't know how to put into words how Dr. Brian and his phenomenal team have impacted my life. I am going into my 3rd week of recovery and I feel incredible. During Covid my gym shut down (as I know many did) and never re-opened. I started walking a lot and I started getting these shooting pains down the backs of my legs which had never happened before. I was then diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis and it became progressively worse. Just at the end of the past year I started going numb from my waist down and I went to my Rheumatologist, while they were doing the proper testing I ended up have gallbladder issues and ended up getting my gallbladder removed. Moving on I had tests run regarding my numbness and finally got some answers and my report was discouraging and I reached out to a friend who is a Doctor and he got me in touch with brother who is Dr. Brian, and this is how to I got to this point of taking back my life. We had a consultation, he had me get tests done in my home town and I would send discs to him of my results and we made the decision that lumbar surgery was in my best interest. While scheduling surgery I had a sort of setback with issues in my cervical area. I developed numbness going down both my left and right arms into my hands and fingers, and immense pain in my left forearm. I have had neck issues previously but it was never simultainiously so I didn't think to mention it. I was encouraged by my Chiroprator to consult with Dr. Brian about this issue and as Dr. Homza has suspected it was my C6/C7 which it was.After the consultation they found I was eligible to be a canidate in a study in which the study paid for this specific surgery. Decisions were made and I had back to back surgeries on July 28th, (Cevical) and hybrid surgery (they placed me on a bed that flipped over) the following day on July 29th, (a spinal fusion at L4/L5) and then discs were placed in L5-SI 1. I feel amazing already. I do get tired very easily which is to be expected. My recovery will be at least 3-4 months. Dr. Brian told me my pain would be gone immediatley and it was. Obviously you will have different pain from where they were operating on you but it's a pain so different than the pain I had been living with these past few years. I truly in my heart want to thank Dr Brian and his team at DOCS Spine & Orthopedics. They are truly a wonderful kind and caring group of medical professionals who truly have your health in their best interests.

Words can not express my gratitude towards Dr Perri. I was told this guy was the best in the US, if not the world. I CAN NOW HONESTLY SAY THE STATEMENT IS 110% accurate! I received TDR at the C5-6 and C6-7 5 months ago and it absolutely changed my life! Dr Perri gave me my life back! He is extremely difficult to see, but if you want the best, he is definitely worth the wait!
