List of Calabasas Urgent Care's Reviews
THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!! AVOID PLEASE!The below is my opinion and experience in dealing with Calabasas Urgent Care at 23341 Mulholland Drive in Woodland Hills.I went here on the evening of February 22, 2021 feeling VERY ill with a 103+ temperature. They said that they had to do the COVID test and flu test before they would further evaluate me. I understand that formality. However, I told them that while I understand that they have to rule out COVID, I already had COVID and this was not it.I met with the doctor and told her that I feel really bad and needed help. She assured me that after the COVID test came back, she would further evaluate me, BUT SHE TOLD ME THAT I DID NOT "LOOK LIKE SOMEBODY THAT WAS SICK." They also assured me that I had no temperature. I said with the AC on so high, that likely messed up the reading. They did not listen or care. They sent me to the parking lot to await the results. After about an hour I went back into the urgent care an asked status. They said, "Oh, your results came back negative." I said "GREAT, BUT I REALLY FEEL SICK, MAY I PLEASE SEE THE DOCTOR?" They said the doctor "was not taking any more patients for the evening." I explained that the doctor assured me that after the COVID test came back negative, she would speak with me. The front staff went back and asked the doctor and she declined to see me.Shortly following this, I went to emergency with a ruptured appendix and nearly died.I am sure that my story is a worst case scenario, BUT IT IS CLEAR THAT THIS URGENT CARE DOES NOT CARE FOR THE WELL BEING OF ITS PATIENTS. I was absolutely shocked and saddened by how little they cared. A doctor should care and want to help people. This facility clearly demonstrated they do not care. Please avoid this place. The valley has many urgent cares, PLEASE go somewhere else. Sure it is okay and a clean facility for a COVID test, but the doctors and people that can actually help you are AWFUL!AGAIN, THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!! AVOID PLEASE!

Came in to get tested for COVID and I'm full honestly probably the best care I've gotten in a while nurse practitioner Joanne was very sweet and walked me thru the COVID testing processes and informed me on the different types of tests. Further more the front desk staff were welcoming and fast to attend me 10/10 on my visit
I firmly believe the practice of medicine is about patient care first, and the medicine second. While the staff was very nice and helpful, the nurse practitioner was terse to the point of borderline rudeness. She asked if I had any questions, as she walked out the door. I understand you are busy and want to quickly move through patients, but I left being prescribed antibiotics with no idea what was going on. Asking after the fact for clarification, she sounded annoyed basically stating "don't take the medication if you don't want to". It's not I don't want to take the medication, its I have no idea what is going on.You are in the job of patient care...take care of your patients.
GO ANYWHERE ELSE! You would think for the area, top notch service. But it's the exact opposite.I'll limit myself to five reasons why you shouldn't go here and why I will never return -1) did not honor my appointment time, waited over an hour. After being told to go walk around (yanno spread potential Covid in the shopping center???) for twenty minutes.2) not sure if I was put in a properly sanitized room (nurse had to check w/ another nurse, and even later another nurse made a comment regarding this, EXTREMELY DISTURBING).3) extremely unprofessional from the nurses (literally screaming and goofing off) to the dr 4) worst bedside manner I have ever experienced, apparently I wasted their time by coming in with 102 degree fever and there's nothing they can do for me except treat me poorly and expedite me out with only rapid test (even though I heard the dr tell other patients they do rapid and regular for most effective results)5) "why are you even here?! I can't help you" - THE DR Needs new staff that actually cares (especially since it seems like they were training many student nurses) or different management to throw this whole place through sensitivity training. Being stressed out is not an excuse to treat patients horribly. I feel like I exposed myself for no reason but to experience malpractice.
I had damaged my eye with a mascara wand to the point I couldn't open it and the pain was unbearable. I walked into Calabasas urgent care as a new patient and I was seen immediately. Dr. Long was amazing, so knowledgeable and kind. He checked me out, explained everything thoroughly, wrote me a prescription and even instilled some drops before I left to help with the pain. The whole process was so easy and pleasant.
Jody was the most helpful and kindest human I have ever encountered in the medical field. The entire staff is incredible and welcoming and made my awful situation as pleasant as possible. Thanks again everyone and especially you Jody!
I like that the location is in Calabasas. They charge $125 for a COVID rapid test. Come early because they run out of spots. Most likely you will wait in line to check-in. If you choose not to go through insurance, and pay the full $125, you are given a time slot to come back. I got there at 11. I was given a 3:30 return time slot. Came back and waited in line again for 30 min. Once inside, they rapid test you and you wait 20 min for the results. If you choose to go through insurance and not pay the $125, then you have to stand around in the parking lot and wait for hours until you are called. I am so curious just how much these places are making doing tests like these. Funny story: As I was waiting in line, some lady walks by and yells at the top of her lungs how she doesn't want to wear a f***ing mask! Classic.
Nurses and stall are excellent. Very personal and understanding.Nurse practitioner horrible!!!!! Jodie I believe her names is. So rude.
Bad attitudes, long waits.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
