List of Carol Richardson-Te's Reviews
I saw Dr. Carol Richardson-Te for several years. She has a BEAUTIFUL office and she is one of the nicest people that you will ever meet. She is a gorgeous lady and her practice is solid - very stable. I had nothing but praises to sing about her, but unfortunately I had to leave and so did my son because you could NEVER and I mean NEVER get them to answer the phone in her office to make an appointment or anything. I had to figure out on my own that you could make the appointments and get help through email only. The lady at the front desk that should be answering the phone just isn't. She does not seem that terribly busy the times that I have come to the office. She's just sitting there chatting. She could make an effort to answer the phone but she ALWAYS puts it on the answering system and my calls have NEVER been returned when I have left a message that I can remember. It's a real problem with communication in that office. The other problem was that she had steady turnover in her assistants and although most of them were nice, the last one and the one that I had enough of was RUDE AS HELL. She would not let me change my medication and told me off for asking her to request that Dr. Richardson - Te be asked to do so. It was only a change from one type of the same medication type to a different one. Also, that same assistant would not give Dr. Richardson - Te my message that I was praying for her and her family when I learned from a mass email that went out saying that Dr. Richardson - Te had a family emergency overseas and could not see patients temporarily. This assistant was essentially a guard-dog that called the shots with Dr. Richardson - Te's patients. And she was a bulldog! The bottom line here is that you have a really, genuinely nice and very good doctor who cares about her patients with a staff who does exactly as they please with her practice and her patients pay the price.

Doctor is amazing but trying to reach the office is such a hassle. They don't seem happy to be there and they never answer calls.
Dr. CRT is great, but the office is disorganized, unresponsive, and unprofessional. From getting test results to pharmacy refills, everything is a hassle and requires a massive amount of follow-up on the patient's part. They claim to handle refills in 48 hours, not true. When someone says they will call back the same day with information or update, not true. When someone says they will call when results get in, not true. I get that a clinic is busy and unpredictable, and I'm sure the pandemic is making things really hard. But how the office handles the day-to-day patient stuff is important, and this one is a joke. Never again.
Worst office staff ever. Rude. No one answers the phone. They're incompetent in answering your questions.
Worst receptionist in Los Angeles! Called 2x in a row and put on hold then hang up. I mean if you don't want any patients or new client then just say so!
My father is a patient of one of the doctors here and he likes him, unfortunately the front office staff is not great. I have to always call and be on hold for so long. Today i have an emergency And need to get a message to the doctor i called at 3:57. The girl answered said she had ONE line ahead of her. It's 4:18pm i am still on hold and she never came back. They close at 4:30 and now i just got sent to voicemail stating you have reached a voicemail for non emergency messages. i was on hold for so long it is now 4:21. I manage a medical office my self and this is unprofessional and definitely not a good look for this Te location.Disgusting patients need to be able to reach the doctors and not have to go through loops to be able to get one message across.
Dr. Francis Te has been my internist since 2004. He has helped me through some very difficult medical times. I am forever grateful for his knowledge, caring, and patience. There is only one major problem, he is so damned busy because he is so damned good as a Doctor. In 2004, I was a patient in USC Cardiology with major heart problems. The Head of the Cardiology Dept. recommended that I use Dr. Te to treat all of my side effects and illnesses stemming from my heart problems. I thought I was going to die that year. Sixteen years later I'm still alive and healthy. I credit that to Dr.Te's
Carol Richardson Te is the worst primary care physician that I have had in the last 12 years on Medicare. When CVS sent her a refill request for the same drug that I was taking, she switched me to another drug that didn't work. When I faxed her a complaint letter the next day, she NEVER responded to it. I sent her another complaint letter and she ignored that one too. She NEVER attempted to call me between patients. What kind of a doctor is she that she doesn't respond to TWO complaint letters from her patient and she switched a drug that was working for a drug that didn't work. Stay away from this doctor, she has NO professional ethics or conscience.
My late husband, Leon Webster loved having Dr. Carol Richardson-Te as his primary care doctor. He thought she is a very compassionate doctor, who will go beyond for her patients. I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone who wants a medical physician who really cares and will do what she can to help you.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
