Terrible location, ultra long waiting, no directions, just stay away from this place. Unbelievable that this hospital is rated #1 in Los Angeles. At least the IR is not

STAY AWAY. If you want to stay alive and care for your loved ones, DO NOT go to this hospital. Rude, abusive attitude of the admin. Emergency. The hospital has valuable medical doctors, but you can't see them if you can't tolerate abuse while you are having cardiac arrest.

I want to thank all the staff and doctors at cedars Sinai for all the amazing work that they do. They saved my dad's life on a several different occasions. Everyone from the Emergency room up to the south tower level 6. That's where my dad always stayed due to his severe lung disease. So many different professionals were involved throughout my dad's long and difficult illness. I wish I can name everyone but that would be almost impossible. But I do want to mention a few doctors and nurses that my dad personally liked and felt comfortable with your care, kindness, compassion and heart felt treatment. Dr. Maryanne Amour, Dr. Omeed Warej, Dr. T, Nguyen and Dr. Garo Harmandyan. Nurses Janice, Nicolas, Nicole, Jesus and many others. Unfortunately my dad passed away but he really appreciated all of you. I appreciate you as well. Thank you all for your hard work and amazing service.

Was in ENT department. Personnel is friendly and helpful. My Dr is Allen Ho. Very professional and knowledgeable doctor

A physician left their dog in their car for more than 3 hours today, maybe for their entire shift. While their dog barked the entire time. I showed this to security and they emailed the doctor but didnt have their number. Shame on you!! I was there waiting for AAA for all those 3 hours. Pay someone to watch your dog!!

Don't ever go to emergency I was there with my Aunt 8hrs before they took her blood and waited another two hours to see the doctor. Worse than the County hospita!

Too exhausted to go in details since my turn finally came after 13 plus hours of waiting ! The ppl that checked me in were returning back to work and shocked after seeing me still there !

We waited over 8 hours just to see a doctor in the ER at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It was honestly the worst ER experience. There were other people in the waiting room saying they had been there for 12+ hours and still hadn't been seen. That's pretty concerning for an emergency room. If you need urgent care, you might want to look at other options.

First and foremost, I know this place inside out. And if the chefs who work at a restaurant don't want to eat the food there it says something. As a matter of fact I was sick myself with an AKI and a creatinine that was badly elevated. I recall vividly saying "I'd rather die at home" then be admitted to this hell hole of a facility. This place is really unsafe and I have seen so many egregious errors go down watching my father's care take place here, then my aunt, and now a close friend of mine. First and foremost if you say you see a safety issue they will gaslight you and cover their ass. When I was with my Dad in the ER back in 2023 they failed to scrub the hub when they were pushing medications in his line. If this was a code I would have been a little more understanding but it wasn't. It's gross. They failed to reassess angioedema and airway obstruction as the night went down. Only I was asking him to open his mouth and double check. So much task oriented robotic care was going on, it was bloody unsafe. Now my aunt, well they killed her. I no longer have an aunt cause of this hospital. I won't get into further details but I encourage everyone please please report to CMS if you have speculations about a loved one's care. Don't even go to joint commission, go to CMS. It doesn't change loss but I know this one was a royal f-up.

This is a DANGEROUS PLACE. Your loved one could die due to the negligence. I'll first say that I have had interaction with many staff their over a span of 3 years and i found MAJOR problems both the doctors and the nurses. Twice I had relatives in their 90 visit this hospital and the first thing they do is neglect to give patients WATER. Many elderly people in that 90-100 range actually have problems swallowing and use special tool to eat and drink. In both cases the nurse left a half cup of water for nonverbal seniors and they were dehydrated after 24 hours. This in itself could have killed the seniors. My family mad phone calls and pleaded with staff to listen to the medical history and both time we got the exact phrase said to us by two different nurses... "I don't understand why you're making me talk about water... we have more important things we do here." And these nurse comments came after we read the nurses medical notes from our Cedars-Sinai geriatric doctor that said dehydration will cause a medical emergency or death in the patients in question due to their specific conditions!!!!! It took us hours to get to an administrator, which prompted a response from a charge nurses who went RUNNING to her computer to message the doctor for an IV "stat." If they can't get hydration right ONE TWO SEPARATED OCCASIONS , image what they are messing up with the rest of the care. .... But it doesn't stop there. We came in to check on our grandmother who was admitted to a bed in this hospital and found her on the floor. The hospital staff labeled her appropriately as needed constant monitoring due to certain medical conditions yet she ended up abandoned on the hospital room floor, alone and injured from the fall. Nurses came running when my family found her and review of the records revealed she had been on the floor in distress, unable to move for at-least 15 minutes. .... So when I say your loved one may not be safe here.... Heed the warning.
