Children's Hospital Los Angeles's Online Review Report Card

Estoy aquí con hija desde 7:30pm me pasaron 11 al cuarto y son 1am y todabia no viene la doctora en verdad que los doctores se tardan demaciado para ver a sus pacientes muy decepcionada

Horrible and terrible front desk/ main lobby workers. They have no empathy and talk down to you in a very disrespectful manner. As a parent we come to Children's for our child's health and wellness. The main lobby workers and security team need to learn how to be empathetic. It was ironic that one of the front desk workers is pregnant. I mean you are going to have a baby soon, put yourself in the position of a parent coming in for their toddler. Do not add more stress to our plate by talking down or in a derogatory manner. The hospital needs to retrain all front desk, welcome parties, and security team in customer relations.  This is the only reason I rate this at such a low star. The doctors are amazing and so are the nurses. I wish the security team and front lobby workers  had the same empathy and care too.

Horrible experience. Waited over 9 hours

Worst hospital to take your kid too in an emergency!! You would think because your bringing them to a children’s hospital your kid will be in good hands ! Wrong . Worst place I could have taken my daughter for a fractured arm !!! She waited 6 hours just to be seen !! Not to mention how long everything else took. Not to mention the staff here act like they don’t even work here . Please save your time and take your kid elsewhere!!!! Trust me you will regret coming to this place . I have not even seen anyone sanitize this place the whole 6 hours I’ve been here . Not even clean a door knob. Martin Luther king does better than this place and if you know you know !!!

Great medical staff! The waiting time was a bit long at the beginning. It is understandable that there are too many patients. The excellent doctor found the problem at the first time, and the correct treatment method was timely and effective. The very warm and caring medical staff, the excellent ward, thank you very much you guys, thank you！优秀的医务人员！ 一开始的等待时间有点长。 病人太多是可以理解的。 优秀的医生第一时间发现问题，正确的治疗方法及时有效。 非常热情细心的医护人员，优秀的病房，非常感谢你们，谢谢你们

If I can give zero stars I would this review is for e.r department 6 to 8 hour wait front receptionist , nurseUnprofessional rude no empathy at a children's hospital all nurses cold long waits for anything daughter had very high fever I had my own thermometer I had to show them! Horrible! This hospital is not what it was and I been there the last 12 years!

We were there from 12 am upto 4 am waiting then they called my daughter and took her inside  and then 3 more hours waiting in the room to see a nurse practitioner? I dont know what they exactly do. So unrespinsible and the receptionist was so unprofessional dont waist your time to go there

I have to give CHLA a five star rating because they saved me during my first year or so of life. My parents were immigrants in their 20s, uninsured, and poor in the 90's, so they couldn't afford the procedure to correct my congenital heart defect. However, there was a foundation which covered the expenses for my surgery and recuperation.According to my mom, the surgeon could’ve "done the operation with his eyes closed", since he had fixed countless cases of VSD in infants. The surgery occurred at some time between Sept 1995-1997.As of 2022, I am a healthy 26-year-old woman who is active, strong, educated, well-traveled, and grateful. The only evidence of my heart surgery are two small scars on my back and side. I donated to the foundation, which is the least I could do. Thank you for giving my life a chance despite the odds.
