The doctor's reception was very rude and rude. She hung up on me before she finished the conversation and didn't answer phone call when call back.

Run don’t walk away from this doctor. My fistula arm is horribly disfigured from his extreme negligence. He hacked my arm & didn’t take any responsibility. Go to any vascular surgeon other than this dr.

Dr Ochoa was involved in my care for some mild pain I was having with walking. Dr Ochoa tried to fix some blockage in my leg which was unsuccessful. He recommended a bypass which became infected. He did a number of procesurs on my leg which didnt work and ended up losing my leg. I cant help but feel I would have had a different result with a different doctor. Its interesting that throughout different experience sites the theme is constantly the same about Dr Ochoa with poor ratings. Except USC own website which cleary lie about his ratings. Shame on USC. They always seem to be Embroiled in some scandel of lies.

Relied on this doctor to fix blokage in leg and was not able to fix and left me paralyzed. Ended up getting amputation - how can hospital keep this doctor - really disappointed - my life is permanently affected. They dont care about patients and protect this doctor

After very delayed surgery scheduling at LAC-USC A4B outpatient vascular surgery clinic, sadly my surgery presided under Dr. Ochoa on 4-20-16 was unsuccessful as I ended up with total permanent left side carotid artery occlusion at surgery conclusion. And months after surgery Dr. Ochoa never responded to my only one single very distraught email asking him for any further possible help for horrifying bad symptoms ongoing 24-7 in my right neck face eye ear head scalp with more than 80% highly stenosis right carotid artery to this very moment. I certainly feel he and the A4B outpatient vascular clinic did not care about me or my suffering bad symptoms.

An absolute moron. I do not know who is worse, this guy or his staff. I asked for a copy of the notes from the visit and it is entirely INCOMPLETE AND INCORRECT. He works for the County of LA at the med center and I feel for anyone who has no choice but to see this fool. Total joke and a liar and covering up something in the file, but gossiping or putting in notes that are detremental to my health. Typical County employee who is a waste of taxpayer monies to support.

Do Not use for vascular surgery. Repeated infections & has to redo procedures. Finally went to another surgeon.

Aborted surgery I didn't need. Said I was done and now I'm hoping that another doctor is able to save my leg. Very uneducated doctor.

Dr. Ochoa was very courteous, informative, nice, and was very thorough. He took ample time to explain everything in detail and never once did I feel rushed or that he needed some place else to be. I walked away feeling so much better than when I walked in.
