Amazing staff and Dr. Sofen I would highly recommend for anyone. He spent the time explaining everything thoroughly.

I was seen by Dr Sofen today for an examination. His staff were very friendly and helpful. His office was very clean and welcoming. Dr Sofen is a very friendly and professional man. He explained everything to me I needed to know. I had a great experience with him and his staff. I recommend him to anyone who needs a great dermatologist.

The check-in is straight forward and the staff are very friendly. The PA that I first met was attentive and listened….that’s refreshing! Dr. Sofen is just awesome: knowledgeable, pleasant and explains things quite well. Consider this team for any dermatological concerns you have.

Dr. Sofen and his staff are superlative. Via my mistake, I arrived three hours early to my appointment. His staff was accommodating and gracious, to a person. Dr. Sofen was benevolent and wise. He took the time to explain a relatively complex process, and made it understandable to me. I would highly recommend him to my family.

totally disgusting and rude office, dirty floor, full of hair, blood and visible dirt. This quack had his medical license revoked for inappropriate behavior with a patient and requires chaperones to even be in the room. The practice is some kind of cash grab run by physicians assistants, doing clinical trials, bottom of the barrel care. He left a ruptured pilar cyst in my scalp, which I was needing to get removed for three months. Finally went to go pay cash out a legitimate dermatology office and the doctor did it on the spot also concurred that it should've come out months prior. They were not equipped to do the procedure in the first place, total waste of time and a total creep. DISGUSTING. The California medical board needs to shut this disgusting office down. it's like a filthy gas station bathroom in there, chaotic and disgusting. Sad these people are allowed to practice with such a sh*t level of care.

One representative hung up in my face when I was trying to make an appointment because the call went passed 5 o'clock and she said she was off. Then you'll wait 2- 3 months to speak to the physician only to speak to their assistant which didn't seem knowledgeable on how to handle my skin issue. You'll write why you're visiting on the papers that you fill out when you get there & then you'll explain it to the front desk to explain to the physician assistant and then you'll have to explain again when you meet them because either they don't want or know how to read and they have trouble communicating internally. I wouldn't be surprised if they just google your condition after you fill out the paperwork because when I asked the assistant about my common skin condition, the actual reason I came in, she didn't know what treatment I should be taking.

They were right on time and super friendly. Appointment was thorough.

I am very disappointed in this office and the dismissive attitude from the nurse practitioner who I did not make an appointment with. I did not find her to be knowledgeable on my issues and just repeated what my primary care doctor had already done. She told me the doctor would come in and take a look at my scalp for some issues as she needed Dr Sofen opinion. When she returned and tried to gloss over not returning with the doctor, I asked why? Instead of providing the service to address my issues and reasons for the visit to “specialists” and she was like it’s ok and I could not see the doctor I actually had the appointment with. I understand that I currently do not-have a pop plan but you will still get paid for my visit so why not offer the medical attention I needed and came in for? I was offered no real help or solutions. I could have done better just googling. This was not a feel good nor easy experience.
