List of Don L Garcia's Reviews
He really is that bad I am very concerned about the quality of care from this doctor. I have seen Dr Garcia for 3 months and I can confirm the level of care is very low. He did not seem able to listen to my concerns or discuss much of anything at all. He does not seem to review test reports or even know that they have been done. As a patient I needed to lead him through the process of finding and reviewing results and trends from prior tests. He seemed to prescribed medicine at will without explaining them. After a recent prescription, when I picked up the medicine at the pharmacy the pharmacist told me that I had been prescribed the very highest dose of the most dangerous statin. He suggested I discuss with my doctor. When I tried to discuss with Dr Garcia he would barely listen at all and simply told me the prescription was correct and he ended our call by saying “Have a nice life.”
Horrible.
Not a good experience.
Dr. Garcia is terrible He spent his time making my aunt repeatedly say "You're the best doctor in the world" and would not treat her unless she said it in the room as well as once she got into the waiting room. It's creepy and gross. He also failed to test her blood sugar levels and blindly decided to discontinue her diabetes medication, which she still neeeds! Do not see this man for any medical help!!
He was condescending, loved to hear himself explain in (over) detail while cutting me off when I asked a valid question. I'm going back to my primary care physician, even if he isn't in my insurance network.
First of all, the clinic is a mess. On one consultation a rat ran across the room I was being attended in. Rather than closing the clinic and fumigating the doctor did nothing and stated “that it’s not that serious.” In a health center we all expect a high level of hiegene, al Clínica Medica Central (Dr. Garcia’s clinic) you will NOT find it. Secondly, his staff is very rude and work incredibly slow. It seems that they gossiped for longer than they file d my insurance card. Anyways, the receptionist gives sass and will have you wait 3+ hours for a very simple checkup even when there aren’t any other patients in the waiting room. Lastly, Dr. Garcia’s staff is super slow. In the time it took for me to get antibiotics for my bronchitis I missed 4 class periods. If you want a reliable doctor that handles his/her patients at reasonable times don’t come here.
I have never seen Dr. Garcia in my entire time going there. The NP tries her best to take on all of the patients by herself and i know it must be stressful but she really needs more help. It is almost impossible for me to get 60 percent of my non-controlled medications and I still do not know why. The office staff can be rude, bad at answering phones, they never answer their fax machine, getting them to fax medications over is a painful long ordeal. The small parkinglot is a nightmare.
This doctor has Vonage phones and they don't have an IT person who knows how to properly configure their phones and automated attendant. You can never reach them to make an appointment or to get medical necessity taken care of. The phone system answers then hangs up on you after 9 rings while waiting on hold. That's if the phone system ever answers at all. I had major bypass surgery and haven't been able to reach them for over two weeks. My incisions ripped open and I need wound management and can't get through to get the orders done. By the time I reach them I'm likely going to lose my leg from infection. I'm bed ridden and can't get help from my PCP. There are several bad reviews all related to their phone system. Good luck finding a good fax number I've sent my surgeons orders to them via the only fax I can find. Apparently they don't read their faxes unless you can get them on the phone to say you sent a fax. I like the doctor. I just need them to fix their phone issue and this would be a different review.
El doctor que pone cuidado en esta clÃnica es un doctor que trabaja bajo las órdenes de Don GarcÃa Don GarcÃa es una persona impuntual y falta de cortesÃa falta de atención no muestra profesionalismo con sus clientes y pacientes
Ever since I see came here never once I see Dr Don Garcia. I don't think he is ever there. Only person we see most of the time is his assistant. She is seeing most of the patients there. Wait time is pretty long 1 hr 30min. Staff are nice but not professional. Office is not a clean environment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
