Took my 3-year-old here for the first time and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We’d heard great things beforehand, but it still managed to impress us. Everyone at the front was welcoming, the assistants were gentle, and the dentist really took their time—super patient and clearly knows how to work with kids. Made the whole visit feel easy.

We love Dr. Dan so much that we travel all the way from Long Beach to see him! He is so kind, patient and fun, my daughter has no anxiety about going to the dentist. He does not try to upsell or do unnecessary procedures…he is very conservative and isn’t motivated to make money off his patients. Many other dentists are like this, but not Dr. Dan. I can’t thank everyone at his office enough.

We had an absolutely terrific time at Dr. Dan‘s! My kids are almost literally counting down the time until their next appointment in six months. No joke, after our appointment my four-year-old continues to ask “can we go to Dr. Dan today?“ every day after school. Dr. Dan took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions that we had. He and his staff were so calm and kind and patient, including when my kids needed a moment during their cleaning. I really appreciate the way he is also so knowledgeable about airway health. I truly recommend Dr. Dan‘s office to everyone. We can’t wait to go back!

Dr. Dan was great with my nervous 2 year old and clearly has a ton of experience both from a practice standpoint and in terms of working with kids.

Out of necessity I chose Dr. Dan because it was relatively close to the kids' school. I always found that he talked way too much and I grew suspicious of how constantly staff changed at his office. Not just the dental hygienists, but also the front desk people. It is always someone new who doesn't know your kid. But the biggest annoyance is, and this happened multiple times, I would get a reminder for an appointment that had changed. At least three different times they changed my kids' appointments and didn't tell me until they were reminding me of the appointment. Plus, even though they're in network, they always seem to charge me for something. Not only do they find a way to charge you even though you're going in-network, this time they tried to charge me over $600 because they told me my insurance denied it. When I pushed them further, they realized it was a billing error on their part. They could have stolen $600 from me without me really understanding that. Plus, we live in a day and age where as a family of color it matters to me how people are voting and how people see my family and I just don't want to patronize people who vote against human rights of women and people of color.
