I can't say enough about Dr Shamie and Advanced Vision Care!When I suddenly developed major problems with my vision, I went to 3 different eye doctors over a period of 2 years. All came highly recommended and all 3 told me there was nothing they could do and that I would just have to live with it. I became depressed, and was afraid I would no longer be able to drive.But I didn't give up, and after some extensive research, decided I would give Dr Shamie a try. She immediately diagnosed my problem and within a couple of months my vision was back without the need for glasses.Dr Shamie was friendly, kind, informative and very efficient! I felt very cared for! And this was true of every single person in her office!I don't know how 3 other doctors missed my problem, but thank God for Dr Shamie. I highly recommend her, and Advanced Vision Care.I definitely plan to continue seeing her for anything having to do with my vision!

Dr. Shamie has been my ophthalmologist for all the years I've lived in Los Angeles. When her practice moved, I followed, because she's a trustworthy, accomplished, highly credentialed, and very personable professional who makes my annual trip to the eye doctor something I actually look forward to.After years of routine eye exams, this year, for the first time, I had a problem that required significant treatment: A cyst developed on my eyelid. I very much appreciated Dr. Shamie's efforts to treat it minimally at first (with injections) before resorting to a surgical solution. When surgery proved necessary, she was very focused, efficient, and compassionate. She talked me through each step of the process; I always felt fully informed. Eyelid surgery is exactly as unpleasant as it sounds, but Dr. Shamie's bedside manner made it much more tolerable, and the problem was solved with flawless results. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Shamie is quite simply, the cat's pajamas. Millennials ... look that up. She possesses extraordinary technical skills alongside a bedside manner that relaxes anyone with a shred of anxiety. After being diagnosed with a rare corneal disorder, I set about finding a specialist with a stellar reputation. After a brief consultation, she consisely detailed my options, expedited my ensuing procedure, then provided unwavering follow-up. She's insanely cool and knows her stuff.

An amazing physician and very skilled with her hands. From the moment you walk into Dr. Shamie’s office, you are welcomed and made to feel at home. Her staff is amazing. She is highly trained and truly the best. She is very caring and will take her time to thoroughly examine your eyes and come up with a very personalized approach to your care. Dr. Shamie is your goto ophthalmologist when your eyes need attention.

Dr. Shamie is one in a million! she is one of the smartest, most experienced and talented surgeons in her field. She also has the best bedside manner and doesn't jump to surgery unless absolutely needed:)

I had a DMEK partial corneal transplant with Dr. Shamie to fix a a hereditary disease of the cornea. My eyesight had gotten so bad that I was not comfortable driving anymore. It has been two months since my surgery and I have 20/25 vision in the corrected eye. When I had my first consultation with dr Shamie I was impressed with her knowledge of the disease. I had consultations with other doctors but I knew she was the one I wanted to perform the surgery. She is warm, kind and caring. I brave terrible Los Angeles traffic to see her and it is well worth it.

Dr. Shamie is the best! Three weeks ago (1/24/18), she did both a cornea transplant and cataract repair on my left eye. This is my fourth cornea transplant, second on this eye. This is by far the best experience I've had. Vision is clearing very quickly. I've been to many ophthalmologists over the past 50 years with keratoconis, including very highly respected cornea specialists on both coasts. And my conclusion is that Dr. Shamie is in a league of her own with her knowledge, skills, and compassion. I thank the Divine Intelligence for bringing me to her!

I had a corneal cross-linking procedure performed by Dr. Shamie. She is a skillful and very caring surgeon. It’s been three days since the procedure and my eye has healed very well. The day of the procedure is painful but the pain dissipates quickly and is well worth it in the long run (to avoid a corneal transplant). Dr. Shamie has a helpful staff and walks you through the process every step of the way. Highly recommend.

So, happy to find Dr, Neda Shamie. Had two unsuccessful Lasik surgeries in one of the most famous places in Beverly hills I finally found Dr N. Shamie who took care of me . She received me of such terrible eye pain and other complications. My daily life was miserable with excruciating eye pain , till I visited Dr Shamie. within 2 days I came back to normal life.I was lucky.Professional, knowledgeable , caring is what this doctor is.
