Edmond G Sarraf's Online Review Report Card

We took our son to Dr. Ed because our son's teacher thought he had ADHD symptoms and needed to get evaluated.  Dr. Ed did a thorough examination on him and added some natural supplements to help his gut and some lifestyle changes.  After a month of using Dr. Ed's regimen, we got an email from his teacher which read:  "XXXX's efforts have been off the chart.  He is participating often and  working diligently, not only in favored subjects, but also more difficult or  less applealing subjects.  He has even been voluteering to read.  I have also  witnessed him really helping out friends at his table this week too.  Across  the board, I am just super proud of him."Needless to say, we were so happy to see such a quick, positive change in our son WITHOUT USING DRUGS.  Dr. Ed is all about bringing the body, mind, and spirit in balance. I am so happy he is our pediatrician.  Best pediatrician we've been to by far.  Responsive, friendly, experienced, and knows his SH%$! :)

This office is ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! A lot of the recommendations on Yelp, years old, are grandfathered into a lower concierge service fee.  New families are to pay a MINIMUM of $3,000 JUST to be a member plus you pay an itemized premium for any actual care. $475 for a consultation. I had to ask 5 times for the recommended blood panel while they called and emailed me more than 5 times to lock in payment for the annual fee because the accountant was waiting for the payment. I was told repeatedly there is such high demand that if I didn't pay by the end of the day on the same day as our consultation, when it was already 4pm, that we would lose our opportunity to be in the membership. Weird high pressure sales vibe. Weird vibe from Dr Ed's interaction with my child.

I'd like to preface this by saying I personally LOVED Dr. Ed and if he were affordable, I would have my children see him for as long as they could, but WOW. That front office staff is something else. I called to schedule an appointment to be a new patient (without insurance, as they do not accept HMO) and they told me it would be $450 for the year and $175 to hold the appointment and that the $175 would be applied to the service received. I already pay $650 a year to see a holistic dentist so I thought this sounded great. Instead of explaining anything further upon arrival, the front desk had me sign a patient info sheet on my son and then sent me on my way to see Dr. Ed. My kids loved Dr Ed and so did I. I was on cloud 9 walking out and then the front desk proceeds to tell me it would be $450 A MONTH to be a part of the practice. I was completely deceived over the phone and had I known in advance it was $5,400 a year to see Dr. Ed, I would have never came for a consult. I was completely blindsided. So I told them I needed to talk to my husband, because I really did like Dr Ed and I wanted to keep coming and that was a huge financial commitment that needed to be discussed. Then I'm told it was $300 for the visit. I assumed the $175 I paid to hold the appointment would have been applied as they said it would be over the phone and then I see on my statement last week, that they charged $475 total. For one consultation! I am sick to my stomach that I was deceived by a practice that so many friends of mine have said nothing but great things about. I asked them if they had to pay such a fee and they didn't. This must be their way of taking advantage of new patients. Absolutely disgusting. Completely bummed by this whole experience. The only reason I gave two stars is Dr. Ed, as a person and pediatrician, seemed really really great.

We LOVE Dr. Ed and Dr. Molly. Unfortunately we moved outside of CA and have had a difficult time finding a doctor to replace them. They are irreplaceable! Dr. Ed TRULY and DEEPLY cares about his patients and takes time to help guide and instruct parents to feel empowered to raise their children. Highly recommend them!

12 years ago our Natural Birth Center recommended Dr. Sarraf as a Pediatrician. Soon after the baby was born, Dr. Sarraf walked into our room and took control of everything. He listened to what we wanted for our baby and he follow through with the hospital. Now our child is almost 12 and we still seeing Dr. Sarraf. There is not other place we could ever receive the care, kindness, and the respect he shows to our child. We adore Dr. Ed.

Dr. Ed is the best dr and overall human! This man genuinely cares and loves his patients, he thinks outside the box, and gives actual advice to get to the root of the problem and not just treat it. He transformed my asthmatic son's life by treating him through allergy testing, diet, and holistic cures. He is a treasure and we are so fortunate to have found him. His staff and Dr. Molly are lovely and such wonderful people. I'm forever spoiled and cannot go to another dr ever again . If you are looking for a pediatrician, look no further!

Dr Ed and dr Molly are both awesome! They always put me at ease, respond very quickly to any questions or concerns when we reach out to them, extremely knowledgeable, kind and love children! I've been taking both of my kids to them for a few years, I highly recommend them, love their approach to health! Always positive and my kids love coming there!

We love Dr Ed and his staff! He loves babies and it obvious from all the love and kisses when you bring them in. I love his intergrative approach and keeps us well informed with the best health and well being of our precious baby. Thank you Dr Ed!
