Unfortunately, Dr. Emory recently retired and is no longer in practice. But I wanted to say that he gave me the best psychiatric care that I've ever gotten. He, along with his staff Jennifer and Yemny, are the most patient, caring, and determined people I've ever met throughout my years of treatment. I'm really sad that I have to move on to a new doctor. I truly feel like no one else can match the level of care I got here, and I know a lot of other patients can say the same things. I'll miss his crazy tangents, stories, and watching in amusement as Jennifer preps his morning tea, and stands in the consultant room to make sure Dr. Emory stays on topic instead of telling me about some ski trip he took 20 years ago. He's amazing and I hope he stays well! For anyone reading this review now, I hope you can find a good doctor for yourself - you really deserve it :)
Dr Emory saved my life. He uses a scientific approach as opposed to throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks, as has been the case with every other psychiatrist I've seen. He is a DOCTOR not a psychiatrist in my opinion. Love this man.
Dr Emory changed my life. He takes a radically different approach in figuring out the best medication or supplements. I've worked with many psychiatrists and it's usually just a guessing game. With Dr Emory you get a brain scan done and he knows what works to speed up or slow down each brain wave in every location, science, etc. All I know is that after 20 years and 50+ different supplements/medications/alternative approaches to anxiety and depression, Dr Emory quickly showed me which of my brain waves were out of sync and prescribed me with a very low dose of valium and some 5-htp. Benzos are so taboo and I'd never wanted to go that route, nor has any doctor wanted to give it to me. But it turns out, that if benzos are given to the people who actually need them because of specific brainwave patterns, there is no addiction situation. I've been on the same low dose for two years now, I'm finally sleeping well (which I didn't even realize I hadn't been doing for 20 years), and I'm so happy and functional and able to be present. I wish I had found him earlier, I really feel like my struggles are done finally. I can't recommend him enough, I wish I could send all of my friends to him. He has helped me end my suffering.
Wow, the receptionist should check her attitude at the door. It was an honest mistake when I said therapist instead of psychatrist- no need to snap at me
Dr Emory is truly a miracle worker and he helped me so much when countless other doctors failed. I had a host of chronic health issues that went undiagnosed for years that resulted in 7 years of crippling insomnia where I never slept. I saw so many doctors and they tried every sleeping medicine. If it didn't work they added a new one and/or upped the dose. By the time I saw Dr Emory I was on 5 different medicines, some to put me asleep and some to wake me up in the morning and was living an unsuccessfully medicated cycle. Dr Emory truly opened my eyes to a whole new way of looking at my sleep. While everyone had put me on medications to down regulate my system so I could sleep (which sleep never actually happened) Dr Emory looked at me in a whole new way and was the first person to ever point out the real issue was my body was never becoming alert enough during the day rather than the other way around. After one visit he changed my sleep which greatly improved my life and he continues to do so to this day. I truly hope that the medical and psychiatric community catch up to his analysis and method of thinking about the brain and body-- we could help so many more people.

I don't think I've ever written a review that could save or change a life. And I've written many things. I'm not a gambling man but I can tell you within 1 standard deviation, DR EMORY WILL CHANGE OR SAVE YOUR LIFE or the life of a loved one. I'm in a data driven industry and I tried everything to help with an issue I was having. I tried every medication under the sun. I was supposed to see Dr Emory in mid '20 but put it off. I finally got around to seeing him and he changed my life. The decision to see Dr Emory is binary. Do you want to take a chance on something with a high probability of success or continue doing whatever you're doing without results. I finally chose the former and my life will never be the same. Thank you Dr Emory. You are a lives saver. PS - see Dr Emory sooner than later. He seems to be enjoying his Peloton too much and might ride off into the sunset soon.
Thank you Dr. Emory! If it not for your neurological expertise I truly feel and believe my life would not be what it is today. There are not words to describe how valuable your knowledge, services and support has meant to me. Even your staff, I've always felt a comfort knowing I can count on there quick response and attention. I've said it before, I wish everyone in the world could experience the benefits of your services. You truly are amazing in your field. I've considered myself very lucky to have you as my nero doctor. Thank you so much, always. Cjae...
Dr. Emory changed my life. I'm chronically ill, so I have a lot of other conditions outside of the scope of his practice, but he's been working with me (and my doctor) for a year now within his area of expertise, and everything has gotten better. I can focus for the first time in years, and feel so much more at ease than I ever have before. His method that he has perfected over decades serves all of his patients, and his consistently inquisitive and open mind help me far more than other doctors I have seen, all while managing to make me laugh somehow each appointment I've had with him. He listens with incredible attentiveness to all of my input and incorporates it into changes in my treatment plan in a way I have never experienced with a psychiatrist before, bringing me to what feels like my true self with me as an active participant instead of based on his assumptions about how my mind should work. Best of all, I NO LONGER HAVE SLEEP APNEA. I had been on a machine for YEARS with no changes to my pressure levels despite dramatic weight loss, and 2 days after the first medication he prescribed me, I just stopped having it. He predicted this would happen, and it did. I mean, honestly--he fixed my interpersonal life, my terrible sleep on that infernal machine, my concentration issues, and continues to help me with other aspects of my general wellbeing. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Emory. His services appear expensive, but the amount that they have saved me in roundabout doctor's appointments and years of brain fog and general discomfort is WORTH IT if you can afford it. It's an investment in your wellbeing. Make it. He can help anyone get closer to being their best self, I am convinced.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
