If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My husband broke his ankle in August 2024 and had surgery with Dr. Le to put in screws and a plate. In October 2024 he got his cast off and was sent away with nothing but an ace bandage wrapped around his foot and ankle, he was told to return on December 16th at 10am for physical therapy. The office was supposed to put in for an authorization for a brace and give us a call. No one called so I called the office in November. I was given the run around and told that they are still waiting for the insurance but the person that handles the authorizations wasn't in the office and would return my call. No one returned my call or bothered to follow up with us. It's now December 16 and we were told my husband does not have a physical therapy appointment or an appointment with Dr. Le. Again we were given the run around and a whole new story on physical therapy and how we should have received a letter in the mail. Nothing was ever sent to us just like the missing brace. We now have to wait even longer to start therapy because no authorization was received. This place is a complete joke and the office staff does nothing to help but give you the run around. We are consulting with an attorney because this is negligence on their end. What a complete waste of time.

Dr Han is an extremely knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon. I sought his care to treat residual pain from a shoulder fracture and knee pain by PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy as an alternative to surgery on my shoulder and knees. I have gone to other medical practitioners for this type of therapy; so I can compare their level of expertise with what I experienced when receiving this type of medical care from Dr. Han. Because PRP Therapy is not covered by medical insurance, I have been taken advantage of by some of these earlier medical providers. Dr. Han's prices for PRP Therapy are moderate. He does not take financial advantage of his patients like some of the doctors out there doing PRP Therapy. Also, I am impressed with the tight operation of his orthopedic clinic on South Virgil. They office staff and medical technicians at Han Orthopedics are very organized, quick and efficient. I highly recommend Han Orthopedics.

Han Orthopaedics and their staff are efficient, professional, and empathetic, which reassured me that I was being well taken care of. Even with an extremely complicated injury where the shoulder was "irreparable" on a completely torn rotator cuff, Dr. Han, with his years of surgical experience overseas and in the States, was able to repair my shoulder without additional undue complications using his unique expertise. The Doctor also had special training for my specific type of injury that the doctor took his time to explain in detail, how the procedure would be done and why he would do it that way until I fully understood it. The smile and the confidence in his eyes reassured me that I could trust this doctor with my surgery. Finding a phenomenal doctor who could explain exactly what he would do for me during the surgery and why the procedure would benefit me in the long term due to my age was the reassuring point as to why I went to Dr. Han. The caring staff who took care of me before and after the surgery were some of the most warm-hearted people. I could not feel my arm, obviously from the anesthesia, as I was waking up from the surgery and I was panicking and moving around violently. But the staff and doctor were right next to me and calmed me down and the level of care/concern that everyone showed me was unbelievable. I've always been a Kaiser Permanente member and have never used out-of-network services and this was my first time but I am so thankful that I met everyone at Han Orthopaedics!

Hopeless! The doctor came in to see me and uttered just a couple of sentences to his interpreter, and the interpreter said that I needed a total knee replacement and it would be a day surgery. That is what actually happeded on my first and LAST visit. I never had an interpreter for English for the past 78 years. As a matter of fact, I was an English interpreter before I came to live in this country 50 years ago. I have a Ph.D from the University of Chicago and two masters degrers from the universities in this country.

Worst doctor ever. Do not go here for your orthopedic needs. They dont know what they are doing and they will misdiagnose you and make you experience hell until you meet a new doctor. It is extremely hard to make appointments and the doctor doesnt give any solution but to go with surgery.

Conservative management proved ineffective, so I had an MRI which revealed partial tearing and tendinosis of my subscapularis rotator cuff tendon. Recently, I decided to try PRP injection with Dr. Han. He performed the procedure under real-time ultrasound guidance, allowing him to inject the PRP precisely into the injured areas. The injection recreated the deep, gnawing pain I was familiar with, reassuring me that the PRP was being delivered to the correct location. Remarkably, within two weeks, I experienced significant improvement. The debilitating pain during overhead and pressing movements vanished. I wanted objective proof of the treatment’s success, so I underwent a follow-up MRI just 19 days after the PRP injection. Comparing the two MRIs, the improvement was evident. The pre-procedure MRI (top image) shows the thickened, inflamed subscapularis tendon with partial tearing. The post-procedure MRI (bottom image) demonstrates significant healing, with resolution of the partial tearing and only mild residual tendinosis. Additionally, the joint effusion has nearly resolved. PRP works when administered for the right indications. While many practices may offer this procedure, it’s crucial to have it performed by a skilled specialist. Dr. Han is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon with extensive sub specialization shoulder training. If you are experiencing shoulder pain, I can’t recommend him highly enough for the entire gamut of shoulder care including both minimally invasive injections and high-level operations.

Called to ask about if a doctor in there was in my network, they told me and i quote, " i don't know". I also asked if they had other doctors that could be in my network and they responded with "I don't know". AVOID THIS PLACE

Dr. Han at the clinic was very kind and thorough in his examination. He explained everything in Korean, even the parts that were difficult for me to understand in English. The clinic was clean, and all the staff paid attention to every small detail. It is the best orthopedic clinic in Koreatown.
