List of Harold Valery's Reviews
Worst place ever 4 hr wait time doctor always different.. don’t come here. Front desk sucks lack info knowledge
This clinic is a model of incompetence. I went in for a blood test. A week later, I got called to come in for the results of the blood test. And they lost the results of the blood test. I had to take it again. They referred me to a cardiologist. Unfortunately, they referred me to a cardiologist who only specializes in pacemakers. They must have looked at a list and picked the first one without reading the description.Staff is rude; they're even rude to pharmacists on the phone! They put them on hold forever and then hang up! I have no idea how an incompetent medical office like this still exists.
I don't why the bad reviews, they are cordial, efficient and knowledgeable. Plus waiting time is normal. I have 0 complaints. Plus this is a clinic not a private doctors office! what do you expect? lol gtfo .
Waiting time is terrible. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else..
ONE DOCTOR ONLY! WITH MULTIPLE ASSISTANTS I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE 9AM. DOCTOR GOES TO LUNCH AT 1PM AND THEY CLOSE AT 3PM? SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED, 20 FULL CHAIRS OF PATIENTS IN SMALL LOBBY. NEEDS MORE DOCTORS.
I selected this medical office because it was close by my home and accepted Medi-Cal. I haven't met Dr. Valery because he's never in the office when I visit. The staff seems nice but I'm disappointed in being told varying information about authorizing my medication. They tell me they will call me back but never do. I then call back and they give me an excuse. I'm tired of this runaround.
This review is for the Long Beach office, i went to Dr.Valery's office for the first time to obtain a referral to an OBGYN as i was already 15 weeks pregnant with twins. I was previously receiving care with another dr and insurance plan but upon arrival the nurse proceeded to say i was "due" for a physical without even asking my history or what i came for, she had no idea when my last physical actually was. I finally had to tell her i was pregnant and just needed a referral while she was trying to give me a hearing test. When i finally saw Dr Valery he just glanced at the chart then asked if i was on birth control. Seriously?! I JUST told the nurse i was pregnant. It took them 9 days to even send the request for the referral to the OB AFTER I called to ask where my referral was, then after another week waiting i called the medical group to find out Dr Valery's office hadn't sent all the information needed to approve my authorization until 6 days after they sent the initial referral request. At this point i have been waiting 3 full weeks for a referral to an OBGYN that has yet to be fulfilled just due to negligence from Dr.Valery's office and lakeside medical group.
I went here for about 2 years and never was treated the way Dr. Valery Harold treated me. As you know if you've been here, they give you an estimate of when to come back for your results or the staff calls you to inform you that the results are ready. Well I went in 3 weeks later for a new reason and at the same time to see what my results were. When I received the call and was seen by Dr. Valery Harold, he was extremely rude and short when I started telling him the visit for my results. He walked out the door after asking me if I had gotten an ultrasound and I said no, I'm assuming my charts said I did because he walked out the door, leaving the door open and yelling at his nurses in the back. He made sure everyone could hear what he said "why was this patient assigned to me" "she could sue me and I would have to go to court for a medical malpractice she received." I was so confused and upset at this point because not only did he storm off which is extremely unprofessional but I didn't even know what was going on. He then stood by the door and made gestures as to come out of the room and gave me my previous results in the hallway where other patients were walking past us letting them hear my results and completely disregarding the new reason why I went in for this last visit. Mind you, no one besides yourself and the doctor are allowed to disclose your medical results/conditions and it's normally in a room not in the hallway where others could hear. Last time, I ever go to this place.
HAVE BEEN WAITING AT THE CARDINAL MEDICAL GROUP SINCE 9AM ITS NOW 2:30PM AND THEY CLOSE AT 3PM AND STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THE ONLY DOCTOR IN ENTIRE BUILDING. SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED, NO SENSE OF URGENCY, CARELESSNESS AT FRONT DESK AND NO SPACE TO SIT IN LOBBY.
ONLY 1 DOCTOR IN ENTIRE BUILDING?! SMALL OVERCROWDED WAITING ROOM, BEEN HERE SINCE 9AM THE CURRENT TIME IS 2:12PM. THEY CLOSE AT 3PM. BE PREPARED TO WAIT A UNPREDICTABLE AMOUNT OF HOURS. I STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THE DOCTOR.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
