We competed an intake on the phone and we’re told that the individual could get a bed when he came the following day. When we arrived, a counselor there was very rude and aggressive toward the individual. The client was listening to music to calm down and the counselor asked him to take off his headphones and do what he’s told. When asked if he could be more patient and calm, he said the individual was not a good fit for the program because he couldn’t follow directions and was too immature.

They give you the tools to live clean.

This place doesn’t even deserve a one star rating they be rude n unprofessional especially those fake lady counselors that don’t do anything but walk around N harass us and making us patients do all the work . I’m still so disappointed from the time I was there they be letting us do what the Fudge we want it’s not even right I’m trying to change my life this ain’t the right rehab that man Reyis whatever he name is he be treating staff N us like we just business I feel bad fo the people still left in that rehab they still be using and they have they children living with them in that place how is that Reyis gonna keep on keeping them if they are using drugs and drinking I don’t care no more it’s like you wanna do good but I was feeling bad in that place I try to convince mah friend to leave but she won’t becasue she was one that they let stay even after getting high it’s not right lord help this place get it together so they can help out of heart and mean what they do also this place be nasty rats bed bugs you name it I’m just glad I’m doing better and I’m getting the help I need in a nice and clean rehab so who ever really needs help Santa Monica It’s the spot

HOU helped me in my recovery, I completed 90 days and they made sure I was accepted to an RBH before letting me leave there facility, staff is very professional and went over and beyond to make sure i was well taken care of as far as getting my appointments and things that needed to be done, and also the proper groups and counseling sessions that where needed, I will forever thank them and stay connected.

This program has what you need if you are willing to do the work just have to have the mind to be willing and do some work one day at a time.

I hate , I hate and I hate this place they need to get rid of the manager and the supervisors they don’t know what they doing . We need to get this place shut down ASAP I don’t know how it still up and running I got bit by a spider what can we do to take this place down

Hi my BFF has been in this program for about 2 months and she is not happy . I really don’t know what’s going on but she has already notified her family to find her a new program she mentioned a lady named Keyana she is mean and very controllingAnd the environment in this place is really bad . She also mentioned her roommate using drugs and it’s very difficult for her to see that but she is trying so hard to to be strong for her family but i beleive in my BFF I know she will be mentally strong .

Has to be the most fake program. The clinical supervisor openly outed me and gave up HIPAA information and threatens to beat patients! She stole money and steals EBT cards! She charges patients over $100 to do their hair and then takes their EBT cards if they don’t pay her or threatens them with bad court reports. It’s the most unethical place ever!

My BFF stays in this program she has been at House of Uhuru for 2 month she says she already told her family to try and find her another place because Keyana is a mean person and very controlling. Her roommate is using drugs and it makes her feel uncomfortable because she feels like using again but she is trying to be strong for her family . For what I understood Some of the counselors are understandable but some of them can be assholes .Sorry to hear about your sister . This place probably needs to get checked and they should really look into maybe evaluating every patient she also told me the environment in this place is so bad it looks nice from outside but the inside is pretty bad . I will keep you guys updated once I get to speak to my BFF.
